Welcome to this beautiful red cottage with white trim, with a sparkling stream running alongside the house and its grounds. Enjoy a wonderfully peaceful and rural setting surrounded by beautiful scenery. Here you can find peace and quiet and enjoy the perfect holiday for a family with children or a group of 4–6 people. In this Swedish idyll, you will have a wonderful stay with several lovely swimming spots nearby along Lake Vänern, Sweden’s largest lake. You arrive along a small gravel road with the stream just behind the house. The grounds are partly hilly at the back. At the front of the house, there is outdoor furniture and a kettle grill for enjoying delicious meals. The entrance is covered, making it a lovely place to sit and admire the rapeseed fields outside. You are welcomed into an open-plan living area with the living room straight ahead. The room features a large, inviting sofa and a TV with Swedish TV channels and Chromecast. The house also has wireless Wi-Fi. The kitchen is to the left, with a dining area for 6 people. The kitchen is open-plan and fully equipped with everything you may need for a comfortable holiday and enjoyable meals. The house has two bedrooms. One has a 180 cm double bed, while the other has 2 bunk beds, perfect for children who want a cosy little retreat. There is a bright, fully tiled bathroom with a washbasin, WC, shower cabin and washing machine. This is convenient if you have small children or want to stay for a longer period. Straight ahead in the bathroom, there is also a lovely sauna, perfect for chilly evenings and cosy moments. A door straight ahead leads out to the house’s small patio at the back, where you can enjoy complete privacy while having your first morning coffee in your bathrobe, listening to the stream flowing and the trees rustling. If you would like to explore the area, there is plenty to do. A visit to the charming Nuntorps Gård is a must, with locally produced products, stone-baked pizzas and lots of other delicious treats. Brålanda offers second-hand shops and an ICA supermarket. Mellerud has lovely forest trails, plenty of fishing spots, and swimming in beautiful Lake Vänern is a must. The nearest swimming spot is only a 10-minute drive from your accommodation. If you enjoy fishing, there are plenty of good fishing spots in sheltered bays. Fishing permits can be purchased in grocery stores in places such as Brålanda. If you need to do some shopping, visit Grinstad Lanthandel, a charming shop with a good selection. Welcome! Good to know: Final cleaning and bed linen can be pre-booked. One small and one large towel are included per booked bed set at this accommodation. Electric vehicle charging is available at the house.

Ein absolut gemütliches Haus. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es war alles für einen tollen Urlaub vorhanden. Der Ausblick auf den Dalbergsån ist wunderschön, die Ruhe fantastisch.Wenn die Sonne allerdings so früh aufgeht, ist es im Schlafzimmer sehr hell…ein vor die Fenster gegangener Bettbezug brachte aber Abhilfe.5 Sterne auch für die netten Gastgeber, die für Fragen ein offenes Ohr hatten und uns bei der Ankunft mit einem leckerenStück Kuchen verwöhnt haben. Empfehlungen: Viele schöne Wandermöglichkeiten.U.a. Sunnanå naturreservat. Auf dem Vogelbeobachtungsturm kann man auch Elche beobachten.Das Essen im Restaurang Fyren (Duse klippbad) war sehr lecker mit einer tollen Aussicht.
