Located directly on a stunning, 3 km long sandy beach, the Weissenhäuser Strand holiday and leisure park is one of the largest and most popular holiday resorts in Germany. Families, in particular, will find plenty to do here: The subtropical water park, the adventure jungle, and a water ski facility (open from Easter to October) ensure an unforgettable holiday for the whole family, whatever the weather. From February 16 to June 27, 2025, and from September 7 to June 26, 2026, as well as from August 30, 2026, to March 21, 2027, you have free admission to the subtropical water park (limited to 3 hours per day; additional charges apply for longer stays).
You will always have your own terrace or balcony and be just steps away from the sea. The Weissenhäuser Strand holiday and leisure park is surrounded by dunes and natural landscapes and is located near Hohwacht, below the island of Fehmarn. The state capital of Kiel is not far away, and the Hanseatic city of Lübeck is also easily accessible from here.

The fun pool, large playground, and adventure land are very close. In the facility, children can move freely and play outside. The room with 32 sqm was completely sufficient for 2 people. The beds were clean. The floor was too. However, the corners and edges are neglected. There was a dark hair at the sink. The TV reception is not good. Only a few channels run without interruption. The small kitchen in the front area of the room is completely sufficient and well equipped. Nice that there is a drying rack on every balcony. The shower is nice and large. The ladies from room service greet kindly - the dark-haired men from the cleaning crew (probably Afghans) usually walk around in groups of three, do not greet, and do not avoid you. That intimidates me. Nice that in winter the entry to the fun pool is free for 3 hours. That is completely sufficient. The staff at the service point are very friendly. My grandson broke a cup and the staff's reaction was extremely nice. The parking options are also good. The path to the apartment is short. The beach is very close. You can take nice walks. There is a fitness course nearby. There are Highland cattle everywhere in the dunes, very tame. There are enough seating options all over the premises. In good and bad weather, you won't get bored here. We will definitely come back.

Spacious apartments and super cozy! Everything's clean and easy to find, Pro tip: the jungle adventure land is a must-do, especially if you're into climbing, Wi-Fi is decent too, Perfect for those IG stories

We stayed here for a winter getaway and loved the free access to the subtropical water paradise. It was a great way to escape the cold! The apartment was warm and welcoming, exactly what we needed for a comfortable stay.
