Description
Cleaning is included. Towels and bed linen can be rented for 10 euros pp. The towels are not bath towels or beach towels. Toilet paper is provided. Furthermore, there is WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, kettle, and a refrigerator with freezer. There is also an oven and you can cook on gas. However, a separate tourist tax of €2.50 per person per day must still be paid. The apartment is located above our own house, but has a separate entrance with an outdoor staircase. Thus, the apartment is not suitable for dogs that cannot climb stairs. There is no crib in the apartment. There are two bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. The double bed has a double duvet, but you can indicate if you would prefer two single duvets. In Scharendijke, there is a supermarket, four restaurants, and a bicycle rental company. You can shop in Renesse, which is just under 4 kilometers away from Scharendijke. Burgh Haamstede is just over 9 kilometers from Scharendijke. It is a nice town with shopping opportunities.
The beach is a short fifteen-minute walk away, and the Grevelingen beach is just a five-minute walk.
You can often see seals at the Spuisluis. It is a half-hour walk from the apartment, but you can also bike or drive there. Zeeland has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands.

The flat is located in Scharendijke, overlooking the Grevelingen dike and close to the beach. The village has 4 restaurants and a large supermarket.
Renesse is less than 4 kilometres from Baken aan Zee, and Burgh Haamstede is 9 kilometres from Scharendijke.
These towns offer shopping, walks and terraces.
Zierikzee is 14 kilometres away. That is a port town and there are still many historical spots to see. There are more than 500 monuments to admire in and around the town.

You can bring the dog but the dog is not allowed on the sofa, provided you put a rug on the sofa. Please note that you have to climb the stairs to get to the flat. There is no lift available.
When you arrive at Beacon 10, the door where you can ring the bell is on the left under the carport.
In the apartment you will find: pepper, salt, coffee and tea for the first day. A soft roll for the first hunger. In the fridge there is a bottle of water, a bottle of wine, a small jar of jam, a small jar of sprinkles and a small jar of butter.

We are Casper and Warda and we have lived in Scharendijke for a year now. A wonderful place to live. We have always worked in education. Casper is now retired, but I still have to wait for that. We also have an old dog and an old cat who are also happy here.
