Description
Cleaning is included. Towels and bed linen can be rented for 10 euros per person. The towels are not bath towels or beach towels. There is toilet paper available. Furthermore, there is WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, kettle, and a fridge with freezer. There is also an oven and you can cook on induction.
However, tourist tax of €2.50 per person per day must still be paid separately. The apartment is located above our own house, but has its own entrance with an outside staircase. The apartment is therefore not suitable for dogs that cannot climb stairs. There is no cot available in the apartment. There are two bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. On the double bed there is a double duvet, but you can indicate if you prefer two single duvets. In Scharendijke there is a supermarket, there are 4 restaurants and a bicycle rental company. You can go shopping in Renesse, less than 4 kilometers from Scharendijke. Burgh Haamstede is just over 9 kilometers from Scharendijke. A nice town with shopping opportunities.
The beach is a little less than a fifteen-minute walk and the Grevelingen beach is a 5-minute walk.
You can often see seals at the Spuisluis. This is a half-hour walk from the apartment, but you can also cycle or drive there. Zeeland has the most sunshine hours in the Netherlands.

The flat is located in Scharendijke, overlooking the Grevelingen dike and close to the beach. The village has 4 restaurants and a large supermarket.
Renesse is less than 4 kilometres from Baken aan Zee, and Burgh Haamstede is 9 kilometres from Scharendijke.
These towns offer shopping, walks and terraces.
Zierikzee is 14 kilometres away. That is a port town and there are still many historical spots to see. There are more than 500 monuments to admire in and around the town.

You may bring the dog, but the dog is not allowed on the couch, unless you put a blanket on the couch. Please note that you have to go up the stairs to reach the apartment. There is no elevator.
When you arrive at Baken 10, the door where you can ring the bell is located on the left under the carport.
In the apartment you will find: pepper, salt, coffee and tea for the first day. In the fridge there is a bottle of water and a small bottle of wine. We naturally hope that you have a wonderful holiday.

We are Casper and Warda and we have lived in Scharendijke for a year now. A wonderful place to live. We have always worked in education. Casper is now retired, but I still have to wait for that. We also have an old dog and an old cat who are also happy here.
