Welcome to this charming lakeside cottage set beside beautiful Frisjön in Aplared, within Borås municipality. Surrounded by a lush garden and offering peaceful lake views, this home is designed for relaxation from the moment you arrive. Inside, a small entrance hall leads into a bright and inviting interior. To one side is a fresh, fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and a cozy dining nook overlooking the garden and lake. Opposite, a spacious dining area provides the perfect setting for shared meals with scenic views. The comfortable living room features a TV and a crackling wood stove, ideal for cooler evenings. A newly renovated bathroom includes a shower and toilet, while the bedroom offers two comfortable single beds for restful nights. Step outside to enjoy the generous terrace with garden furniture and barbecue - perfect for long summer meals and quiet evenings in nature. Just 800 meters away, you’ll find a wonderful swimming area with a jetty, a sandy beach, and a playground for children. The surrounding area offers scenic hiking trails, historical landmarks, and excellent opportunities for outdoor activities. Fishing is also available with a valid license. Borås is only a 15-minute drive, offering shopping, restaurants, Borås Zoo, and the Knalleland shopping center. Gothenburg’s attractions - including Liseberg and Universeum - are under an hour away, while Ullared and Gekås are just over an hour by car. Note: During dry periods, conserve water. Guests must clean before departure and bring their own bed linen.

The situation by the lake / Fantastic view / Quiet surroundings Recommendations: A holiday home that is somewhat dated but has been furnished with great attention to detail. The Swedish wallpapers and paneling, as well as the lovely decoration in the kitchen and bedroom, personally appealed to us very much. The small bathroom is new and practical. We found the kitchen equipment (cooking utensils, etc.) to be rather minimal. There is a new large fridge-freezer combo, a microwave, a stove with an oven, a kettle, and a coffee machine. The view of the lake, the tranquility, the wonderful garden, and the beautiful terrace are great. The cottage is cozy and suitable for two people. It can be heated quickly and well with electric radiators. Parking is conveniently available on the property. The homeowners live in the same village and are always available if needed. There is quite a bit to do within driving distance, and Gothenburg is not far away. The area also invites you to paddle, swim, and hike. We felt very comfortable here.
