Ližnjan is a fishing village with a small sheltered harbor on a small peninsula at the southern tip of Istria. The place overlooks the clean blue sea and the Kvarner islands in their full beauty. There are even 28 km of beautiful and untouched beaches, most of which are rocky. The history of this small town is truly fascinating, where settlements dating back over 7,000 years are evidenced by the remains of Roman villas, pieces of amphorae and ancient wrecks that are still in its waters. It is ideal for nature lovers and those who want to rest away from traffic but at the same time be close to tourist events.

wonderful relaxed vacation week
We have now been to Croatia 5 times, 2 times in Istria, and it was very nice. Very good location, short distances. Very beautiful new vacation apartment, especially quiet, and the wonderful pool which is also heated with a heat pump. Can be used at any time of day. Overall 5 stars, would love to come again.

Beautiful vacation in Croatia
The Petar apartment was very nice and very clean, it had everything you needed. Even a hairdryer was available. The pool was large enough and always kept clean. There were plenty of sun loungers available. Outside on the communal terrace, there was a large gas grill (gas provided) that could be used. Very quiet location.
Litzenjan is a small village that has a bakery and several small markets where you can still buy little things. The beach (Liznjan) is about 1.5 km away.
Those who are good at walking can easily walk there.
Very clean beach with lovely bars.
Liznjan is a good starting point for trips. Pula, Medulin (a few km away) with a beautiful harbor, Cape Kamenjak or other places. Rovinj is highly recommended, a great city with a beautiful view from the church.

Very nice accommodation
We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Liznjan with the family. The accommodation is located in a quiet area, which is very good for families with children. All beaches can be reached by car in a few minutes and if you don't feel like going to the beach, you can relax by the pool. The accommodation is very well maintained and clean, you have everything you need. The Pecek family is very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back.
