VERY DISAPPOINTING. - NEVER AGAIN

I relied on the reviews at the time. There I found a very bad review from May 24, and I thought to myself, there are always outliers who have something to complain about. No, I can take this review 1:1. When I opened 2 cabinets with pots (of which 2 pots were completely burnt), spiders came towards me. I first had to remove the cobwebs. Spiders and cobwebs all over the house (I don't have that much in my basement). I can't list everything that was dirty, here are just a few bullet points:
- House completely dirty from the outside (windows haven't been cleaned for, I think, a year) corresponding cobwebs. Many of which were found inside.
- Dusty in the bathrooms, washbasin barely cleaned, shower drain still has sand and dirt in it, cobwebs, fan extremely dirty.
- Kitchen shelves and furniture sticky and full of dust (already stuck) etc. - Living room still has sand in some corners from the previous tenant. Here, you cannot open a window.
- The bedrooms are extremely small, beds are worn out, everywhere there are spiders/spider webs. Very dusty under the beds.
- The grill still had the burnt coal from the previous tenant.
- Front yard and garden very unkempt.

I was offered a follow-up cleaning. This follow-up cleaning would have taken at least the whole day, so we removed the worst ourselves. In retrospect, it was said that we were in the house too early, yes we were about 1 hour early - sorry - and the cleaning company could not check if it was cleaned properly. That was not dirt from 1 week, it was from months, which had not been cleaned in the last few weeks. Ms. Majdanicic could have accommodated us in some way, even if it had been the 70.00 euros for the cleaning, which she did not do. I would like to mention, however, that Ms. Majdancic was always very friendly.
I am glad that we were only there with 4 people. My youngest son would have left immediately.

Very well located and beautiful holiday home

We, my daughter, her husband, and two small children, with a dog, spent a wonderful vacation in this holiday home. The proximity to the beach and the great garden was perfect for us. The communication with the landlord was very good and friendly. All in all, a successful vacation.

Very cozy and simply beautiful.

It was a very nice stay in the cozy house. Our dog and our children felt at home immediately.

The location is top, and you can quickly walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in Holland.

We were helped quickly and very friendly with questions. We will definitely come back next year (possibly even this one).

Vacation with Dog

We were with 4 adults and 1 small dog in the holiday apartment and felt comfortable.

At the next opportunity, we will book again.

Gladly again

We were in this beautiful holiday home for a few days in early October.
There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was clean, and it is cozily furnished.
We had more than enough space with our 3 large dogs, both indoors and outdoors.
The kitchen is very well equipped. Dishes, cutlery, etc. are available in ample quantity.
The beach is easily reachable on foot. The distance is about 1 km. If you're a bit lazier, you can park your vehicle in one of the many parking lots located directly behind the dunes.
We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Nice house for a relaxed stay

We were with 3 adults, a toddler (4), and three dogs in the house. It is very nicely furnished and has everything you need. The sleeping areas are quite small but completely sufficient. A small note for anyone who may not be very mobile - the indication "beach 0.5 km" likely refers to the beach access. To get to the sandy beach and sea, you still have to go over the dune.

Great holiday home in a great location

We have been going to this vacation home with the children since 2018, and we already feel at home there.
The house has three bedrooms, now two bathrooms, a large kitchen with a big dining area (table), and a wonderful large enclosed and private garden with a large terrace.
The house has received an update each year and is beautifully decorated anew every time.
One year we had some issues with hot water and wrote to the landlady. The problem was promptly resolved by a tradesman.
There was also a time when there was an issue with the cleaning company, which did not leave everything clean and tidy as usual. The landlord immediately commissioned another cleaning.
We would go to this house at any time and every time because we simply feel comfortable there. The beach is not far away and there is so much to explore in the entire area.

When we arrived on the day of arrival, not everything was perfect, and the cleanliness could have been better.
We then called the owner and were able to clarify everything.
The contact was very friendly, and the issue was addressed immediately.
Mrs. Majdancic was there for us right away and took care of everything.
The house was really top-notch.
We felt very comfortable.
Our dog did too, by the way. The garden was completely fenced, so we didn't have to supervise it in the garden. Everything was available, and we had a wonderful time in Julianadorp. The distance to the sea was not a problem, even for my 86-year-old mother. Only the weather could have been a little better. But weather cannot be planned, so we made the best of it. We would like to thank Mrs. Majdancic again for the prompt response to the problems we had. We have experienced this differently before. If health permits, we will book the house again next year.

Over and over again

We are partly in the vacation home 2 times a year. It is nice, large, and comfortable. Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, etc. everything is there. The bathrooms are new and clean. The large bench with the table in the kitchen invites you to linger and play. The garden is fenced, not visible from outside, and equipped with a garden lounge. Ideal for children and dogs. The beach is 500 meters away. The contact is friendly and reliable.

After anticipation came swift disappointment.

We had rented the house for 2 days. Unfortunately, we quickly noticed how dirty the house was. The garden was full of weeds, and all surfaces and handles inside the house were dusty, with hair on the bedside table, in the bed, and in the bathroom. In one bed, there were stripped and used sheets. The dishwasher had food leftovers, and the cutlery drawers were sticky and crooked. There were holes in the room doors that were taped up; unfortunately, there is so much to complain about that there isn’t enough space here for it. The living room is beautifully furnished, but when you get to the other rooms, the joy disappears. The bathrooms are nice and new, but you just have to be prepared to share them with silverfish. The pictures unfortunately do not correspond to the actual condition of the house, just like the garden. The location is good, very quiet and close to the dunes. We only slept in one bed, which was so sagging that we all ended up meeting in the middle. In another bed lay stripped and used bed sheets. Of course, we photographed everything and promptly informed the landlord, asking her to come to some sort of agreement with us, because a "re-cleaning" as suggested would not have sufficed. We are still waiting for a response. After all the pictures and complaints, nobody was reachable by phone anymore; if you were lucky, you got a response via WhatsApp. We had hoped for more, both from the pictures and personally. It's a shame; all of this has left us with a really very bad impression.
