Chalet "Zilvermeeuw" is located on the outskirts of the historic town of Goedereede, 5 km from the town of Ouddorp. In the 13th century, Goedereede was an important harbour and fishing village. Coming from afar, a tower still attracts drivers today, which in past times served as a refuge for sailors and today as a museum. Passing fields and meadows coming from Ouddorp, "De Windvang" welcomes you, the lovingly restored, intact flour mill. Visiting it is the first step into the past.
In the holiday paradise - park "De Goede Ree" you will find peace and relaxation, surrounded by unique flora and fauna. An ideal starting point after your eventful day from the beach at the North Sea, 2.5 km away. 200 m from the park is a Spar supermarket that has everything you need. The nearby bakery tempts you with the smell of fresh bread rolls.
Chalet "De Zilvermeeuw" is spacious and has, 2 bedrooms, a shower room and kitchenette. Cooking, heating and showering are provided by central gas supply. The kitchen is well equipped but has no dishwasher. There is seating for 4 in the dining area and a sofa and 2 armchairs in the living area. Please note that there is no WiFi in this chalet!
Private parking is available on the property which is not visible. Parking is available in front of the park for visitors and guests. Rented or own bicycles can be safely stored in the shed on the property.
Outside, a garden table with comfortable chairs and parasol invite you and your loved ones to enjoy the sun from morning to night in privacy and healthy North Sea air, thanks to the southern exposure of our Silver Gull. For younger visitors, there is a playground at the entrance to the park.
Of course your dog is also welcome, the garden is fenced. You will find a washing machine and dryer a few metres from the chalet.
