In the middle of the beautiful Grossarl Valley, the valley of alpine pastures, lies the Chalet Edelweiß-Alm, directly on the cycle path and about 400 metres from the mountain railways. The hiking paradise with 40 managed alpine pastures also begins on the doorstep. But there are not only many possibilities on the doorstep. The chalet itself offers 110m2 of space for wonderful holiday moments.
THE CHALET
There is room for up to 7 guests. There are 2 bedrooms as well as 2 bathrooms available. In the generously designed living area, you will find a large couch, TV and huge dining table as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Passionate hobby cooks can let off steam here to their heart's content. But also those who want to be pampered in every way are in the right place. On request, we deliver a delicious alpine breakfast to the chalet every morning, and in the evening you can enjoy regional delicacies and culinary classics.
PRIVATE SPA IN THE CHALET
The chalet's own private spa area with sauna and relaxation room is also particularly popular. After an eventful day in the mountains, it is especially good to put your feet up. This is not only possible indoors, but also in your own garden. With a view of the greenery, it is wonderful to relax in the outdoor bathtub.
HOLIDAYS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY, EVEN WITH A DOG
The garden is enclosed - ideal for holidaymakers with dogs and families with children. The little guests are offered a lot at the Holzleb'n: Help on the farm, pet animals, free daily pony rides, kick balls on the football pitch or let off steam on the adventure playground - to name just a few of the possibilities. The Grossarl Valley in Salzburger Land also offers a varied programme in summer and winter.

Chalet Edelweiß-Alm is located in the middle of the greenery in Großarl in Salzburger Land. Sometimes it seems as if time has stood still here. Because up here, very close to the Hohe Tauern National Park, people like to take things a little easier than elsewhere. For a long time, the "valley of the 40 alpine pastures" was only accessible via a narrow cart track, but today Großarl is a holiday destination for everyone who longs for true relaxation, a little more peace and quiet and a lot of contact with nature. In the middle of this idyll, which presents itself in lush green or glittering deep white depending on the season, is the Holzleb'n holiday village. the Edelweiss Chalet is one of the 8 holiday homes. A place where (large) families feel just as comfortable as good friends or lovers.

Sepp & Irene, we are hosts with heart and are very much looking forward to your visit! My husband Sepp, head of the holiday village, grew up here on the farm and discovered his passion for forests and wood at an early age. He is particularly fond of the evergreen pine, which you can find in the form of pine furniture almost everywhere in the Holzleb'n and also in the Chalet Edelweiß-Alm. I am Irene. My family and also our guests appreciate my sunny disposition. My homemade jams are particularly popular. So feel free to try them when you are with us.
