The hill of Alassio is a little Eden: colours and scents frame the splendid view of the gulf. In particular, the Roman road of Santa Croce leads to the small church and its belvedere overlooking the cliff. A pleasant walk starts from the Church and through the Via Julia with its Roman remains leads to nearby Albenga. For those who enjoy hiking and cycling, other paths start from Santa Croce and climb the hill.
