House is nice and tidy but the seating area is not that comfortable and the 2 beds upstairs very narrow for adults, the house is more for 2 adults and 2 children.

The house vas very colder when we got there, it took us 5 hours to heat up. We miss something to wash up the pans and such things with. They were not very clean.could have been a bit better equipped with kitchen tools. The beds are nice! The rocking chairs not the best, a bit difficult to get out of. In the equipment room we found empty beer bottles. One of the outdoor chairs are broken in the back, also some other trash? But otherwise a nice house.

The accommodation is visually cozy, but very outdated, and the entrance area smells musty. With the window open, only early risers can sleep, as the rooster in the neighboring garden crows at sunrise. You can also hear the bypass road, depending on the wind, more or less rustling. The mention of a lake view in the description is misleading - the lake is 4 km away. For the price (almost 1000.- for 2 people/7 nights), I would have expected a much better-maintained house, but I was glad that we found accommodation at such short notice. The support was friendly.

The cottage was fine in terms of comfort and cleanliness. But in the kitchen there was a lack of a usable lighter to light the gas fire, a usable paring knife, etc. There was also almost no space in the kitchen to store your own food. I did not dare to use the oven that is provided in the storage room, it had not been cleaned for a long time. The smoke smell from the fireplace is very penetrating and only disappeared after the third day.

The place was spacious enough for 5 of us, and we loved the quiet surroundings. Enjoyed breakfast outside in the garden every morning. Just for your information, WiFi was occasionally a bit slow, but honestly, it was nice to disconnect for a bit. Would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy holiday cottage! The wood stove made the place even more inviting, especially during the cool evenings. The garden was a great place to relax, and we enjoyed listening to the birds with our morning coffee. It is perfectly located near Drents-Friese Wold, which provided wonderful hikes and bike rides.

Our experience at the vacation home was quite satisfactory. The house itself was clean and spacious, comfortably accommodating our family of five. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made meal preparation easy. We enjoyed visiting the nearby attractions, especially the Bezoekerscentrum Staatsbosbeheer Appelscha.
