Welcome to our holiday home Min Kate in Katemin.
The log cabin Min Kate has a positive atmosphere where you can relax very well.
It consists of a living and sleeping area with a canopy bed, a kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a conservatory.
On cool evenings, a wood stove is available. Wood is provided. In the winter months, the two
electric night storage heaters are activated. A 100 MBit/s WiFi connection ensures excellent internet quality.
The house has a flat screen TV with satellite connection, a DAB Plus radio, and a washing machine.
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove with ceramic cooktop and oven, coffee maker & toaster.
Outside, enjoy the fresh air on 2 wooden terraces accessible from the kitchen or the conservatory.
A covered corner in the garden is set up for grilling. Your car will be parked in the carport during your stay.
We can also provide a ping-pong table with accessories and bicycles upon request.
The fully fenced-in property makes the vacation home excellent for vacationers with or without a dog, who want to find peace and relaxation from everyday stress in nature. The garden offers sunny spots, privacy, and lush vegetation.

Our holiday home Min Kate in Katemin is located in a holiday home settlement directly on the largest contiguous forest area in Lower Saxony, the Göhrde, and is about 1 km from the banks of the Elbe.
Katemin lies directly on the biosphere reserve and is surrounded by nature reserves.
Whether on foot by hiking through the woods, by bicycle, e.g. on the Elbe cycle path, or by canoe (a rental station is located in the village) - the Wendland can be excellently explored from Katemin.
The Elbe ferry Tanja, located in the village, connects the federal states of Lower Saxony and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and operates daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The heated forest pool in Alt Garge is only 6 km away and invites you to swim from May to September.
There are several lakes and forest pools throughout the Wendland, such as the Clenzer Waldbad or the Gümser See, where you can swim very well. The same applies to Lake Gartow and the Wendlandtherme spa there.
The Wendland is also known for its Rundlingsdörfer and its Kulturelle Landpartie, which takes place from Ascension Day to Whitsun.
The small towns of Bleckede (13 km), Hitzacker (17 km) and Dannenberg (22 km) offer their visitors old half-timbered houses, good shopping facilities and cultural attractions such as the Verdo in Hitzacker.
Lüneburg (30 km) or Hamburg (90 km) are also easily accessible by car from here.
