Description
Hohentauern on the Triebener-Tauern Pass. The smallest municipality in Styria is an insider tip among mountain holidaymakers. Everything is possible, some on a smaller scale, nothing is overrun. In this mountain idyll we welcome active holidaymakers, free spirits and travellers with dogs. Our concept: "Sloho mountain holiday", a wonderful melange of Slovenia and Hohentauern, of dreamy-floral holiday flats and loving services, of a sense of home and a hearty way of life.
Flats & Service
The ambience in all the flats is fresh and flowery and delicately romantic. And yet no two are alike. Changing pastel shades, from lovely green to earthy beige, finely coordinated decoration and family collector's items in the furniture lend each unit individuality. The holiday flats are between 54 m² and 94 m² in size (2 to 6 pax) and, in addition to a fully equipped kitchen, have a balcony that is protected from view and a cosy wood-burning stove. Dogs are also allowed in all holiday flats.
Guests who appreciate services despite flat flexibility can book a regional breakfast box. We prepare it every morning with love and variety and bring it to the flat door. The "Vorbeischau'n", the small shop, offers fine regional and Slovenian delicacies and homemade dishes in jars, which travellers only have to heat up in the flat. Pleasure "to go" is also available for day trips in the amply filled picnic backpack. The culinary service is complemented by a small wellness offer consisting of a pine wood sauna with relaxation loungers. It is accessible to all guests and can be booked on request and in advance for sole use at no extra charge. For winter 2023/24, four flats will each be extended by a private sauna house.

The region
Hohentauern lies at 1,274 m above sea level in the middle of the Rottenmann Tauern. Individual travellers and pleasure holidaymakers encounter originality, untouched nature and mountain sports diversity without mass tourism here. Due to the altitude, it is beautifully white in winter and not too hot in summer. The Hohentauern skiing, hiking and biking area borders directly on the Sloho flats, so that direct access is possible without a car transfer. Motorcyclists and racing fans enjoy winding mountain passes and the prominent Red Bull Ring in nearby Spielberg.

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.
