My wife and I booked this flat for the second time, expecting it to be as quiet and relaxing as it was one year ago. Unfortunately, this was not the case, as major refurbishment works were ongoing during our stay. Since my wife was unwell, I requested an alternative apartment. The company CAENEN responsible for managing the rental assured me that the construction work would be completed by midweek. However, this did not happen. Even on the last day, Friday, workers were still actively on site, hammering and drilling in an effort to finish by the evening. As a result, we were unable to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing week. Due to this negative experience, I find it difficult to provide an objective overall assessment of the stay. We raised a complaint during our stay, but the platform did not respond. For a service promoting accommodations worldwide, a timely reaction to guest concerns should be expected.
