Munzingen is a rural district of Freiburg and lies on the eastern edge of the Tuniberg. The village is known nationwide as an important wine and asparagus growing area.

Beautiful apartment with garden in a wonderful location
As a family with a dog, we felt very comfortable here. We were particularly taken with the small garden with its nice seating area and the rural charm of the old winery house. By car, it is a good starting point, but you can also reach many beautiful places without a car.
We would love to return - and so would our dachshund Rudi!

Relaxed holidays in beautiful surroundings
Walther's holiday flat was the perfect holiday home for us.
The welcome was warm and the stay there (with our Hovawart young dog) very relaxed.
The flat is in a quiet location and the flair of the old, lovingly restored winegrower's house makes it very cosy.
From there we were able - as we had hoped - to go on various small and larger hikes without having to move the car.
With a car, you can quickly get to Freiburg, which opens up further possibilities.
In addition, the flat is perfectly equipped, we wanted for nothing.
We enjoyed our time in Walther's flat very much and will gladly come again.

Nothing to complain about
Bright, friendly, well-maintained flat with spacious bathroom, very well-equipped kitchen with sitting area, cosy living room and very good quality mattresses.
A small garden invites you to linger. The landlady is very friendly, helpful and pleasantly relaxed
The village of Munzingen is surrounded by a varied, hilly landscape with vineyards, orchards, fields and colourful meadows. The location is ideal, cycling and hiking trails are also nearby, 1/4 hour by car to Freiburg city, endless possibilities for excursions.
We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful cosy holiday flat
We spent two weeks with our son and our two dogs with the Walther family and we were very satisfied. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. After the long drive we were even welcomed with a fresh drink ! The flat was clean, cosy and well equipped. It was quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable.... we slept well
We could barbecue in the garden in the evening
The flat is very nicely furnished. We felt like we were at home.
Large bathroom, well equipped kitchen, cosy living room and good beds...plus a sitting area in the garden ! Nearby were the vineyards where we could enjoy the sunset every evening. We went cycling, hiking in the Black Forest and were very often in Freiburg, where we bathed in the Dreisam.
We had a very nice time at Walthers in Munzingen !

Enttäuscht
Apartment is quite nice but doesn't correspond to the reviews from previous years in 2020.
The biggest problem is the buckwheat bug infestation allegedly brought in by the previous vacation renters. Found all over the house. Left immediately! This was withheld from us by the landlady. Because she knew about it!!! That's why there was no rental agreement and everything was taken quite "casually." Very unfortunate!

So ganz möchte ich es so nicht stehen lassen, erstens habe i h nicht gesagt, dass unser letzte Gast es eingeschleppt hat aber einer der Gäste wohl . Dann ist das in keinem Fall so , dass ich es in irgendeiner Form verheimlichen wollte. Letzte Woche wurde eine professionelle Behandlung durchgeführt, ich bin davon ausgegangen , dass es sich erledigt hat ! Nachdem gestern noch ein paar aufgetreten sind haben wir direkt heute Morgen nochmal angerufen und um einen weiteren Termin gebeten. Einen Mietvertrag haben wir nicht gemacht weil es eine sehr kurzfristige Anfrage ihrerseits war . Die unkomplizierte und spontane Art uns als Arglist zu unterstellen finde ich ehrlich gesagt sehr heftig . Gerade Dank unsere unkomplizierten und netten Art haben wir viele Dauergäste die sich sehr wohl fühlen.
. Ich bin sicher, dass unser käferproblem sich dann wohl heute oder morgen endgültig löst.
