Exterior:
The thatched house is situated in the middle of a natural garden with beautiful old trees. From the terrace you look out over the nature reserve.
Garden furniture, sun loungers and 2 bicycles for excursions into the
the surrounding area are available.
Interior:
The cosy house has an inviting open-plan living and kitchen area on the ground floor with access to the terrace and garden. From here, a small staircase leads to the bedrooms on the cosy upper floor. The works of the painter Ulrike Manzke are exhibited throughout the house. Our house is located in Schleswig Holstein between Kiel and the island of Fehmarn in the Hohwachter Bay.
The lovingly renovated thatched house is situated in the middle of a nature reserve with a beautiful and unspoilt landscape, at the end of the access road. A special observation spot for ornithologists.
Enjoy the absolute silence and tranquillity and the relaxing view of the horizon and the nearby inland lake.
It is about a 5-minute walk to the sea and the centre of the village with shopping facilities and restaurants.

Kurzurlaub
We spent a long weekend in the house. Although €100 cleaning fee is charged, the house was not in a freshly cleaned condition (dust threads/cobwebs and lint at the top in the bedrooms, on the ceilings, in the corners, and on the floors on the ground floor. There were no childproof sockets, smoke detectors, and the TV set did not work at all. For people who do not like spiders and other small roommates, the house is not suitable. But otherwise very nice and practically furnished. No Wi-Fi.
