Walk into the vacation apartment, past the small kitchenette and the bathroom, into the bright living room. From there you can look out directly onto the boats and the hustle and bustle of the marina. Watch the ships arriving and departing, as well as the seagulls flying or foraging from the window.
You can do this from the comfort of the dining table, where you can also enjoy your delicious meals. Of course, it's up to you whether you cook your own meals in the kitchenette or bring a takeaway with you. If you want to cook, you'll find the essentials in the kitchen.
Otherwise, you can also make yourself comfortable on the sofa bed or in the armchair. Watch your favorite TV shows or listen to the sea and the seagulls through the open window while you read.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor, at Stranddistelweg 54, in the "Arne Jacobsen Siedlung". Arne Jacobsen is a renowned Danish architect who designed most of the buildings on the beach promenade. You can easily reach the vacation home via the elevator in the house, so you can easily transport a lot or heavy luggage.
Close to the vacation apartment, you will find the south beach on one side and the marina on the other. This means you can reach the beach in just a few minutes to swim or walk for miles. You will also find many public barbecue areas on the promenade by the marina, which you can use free of charge to barbecue something tasty.
Maybe even the fish you caught yourself after coming back from a fishing trip? Many different fishing trips start from the harbor in Burgstaaken. If you prefer the fresh fish completely gutted and prepared, you will also find many fishing boats there from which you can buy the fish directly.

The vacation home is in an attractive location, right between the Burgtiefe marina and Fehmarn's fine-grained south beach. From here you can easily explore the southern tip of the island on foot. Simply visit the marina, for example, and watch ships arriving and departing.

Overall, experienced a great vacation.
A very small but nice apartment. We used it as a group of three, which can get tight. But for sleeping, resting, and showering, it's more than enough. Unfortunately, there was no way to hang up wet swimwear or something that was washed by hand briefly. Nevertheless, this apartment has everything you need for a successful vacation. The location and view of the marina were unique, and we almost daily used the associated beach chair in a quieter spot.

Beautiful apartment with panoramic windows and a view of the marina. 2 minutes walk to the southern beach.
We really liked the vacation rental. It was very cozy furnished. In the mornings during breakfast, we could observe the activities of the marina through the large windows. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin and large illuminated mirrors. The Wi-Fi is very fast, and the TV and stereo system work well. We were very enthusiastic about the small library. There was plenty of storage space. We could reach the beautiful south beach in 2 minutes. There was a beach chair available to us that belonged to the apartment. A parking space also belongs to the apartment. The uncomplicated handover of the key and the friendliness of the staff at the Inselblume agency were also noteworthy.
