When you enter the large living room of the vacation home, you will look directly at the large window front and the huge balcony, which is just waiting for you to make yourself comfortable there, so you can enjoy the view, the salty sea air and the light. It is perfect for a leisurely breakfast al fresco, a cup of coffee and a slice of cake in the afternoon, or a cool beer or glass of wine in the evening to end the day as the sun slowly turns the sky over the sea red.
You can prepare your breakfast and all other meals in the spacious kitchen, where you will find everything you need to prepare delicious multi-course meals or just heat up a frozen pizza or a can of ravioli if you feel like something quick and easy.
In addition to the balcony, you can also eat at the dining table in the living room, where you can otherwise comfortably spend time together. Talk, play some board games together, read or watch your favorite TV series or movies.
In the bathroom, a special highlight awaits you. In addition to the large shower, where you can wash off sand and salt water quickly and easily, there is also a bathtub waiting for you in the vacation home, where you can treat yourself to long, hot bubble baths to really unwind and leave the stress of everyday life behind you.

The vacation home is located on the 2nd floor of the , an apartment house where we rent out many vacation homes for their owners. You can reach the apartment comfortably via the large elevator, which makes it easy to transport a lot of luggage or even baby carriages.
In addition to the vacation homes, on the first floor of the house you will also find a bakery where you can get fresh bread and buns for your breakfast, an ice cream parlor and also a 24/7 Kiosk where you can buy all kinds of things.
In addition, on the beach promenade you will find many beach bars, restaurants, cafés and snack bars, where you can enjoy culinary delights from morning to night.
At the marina, which is also only a few meters away from the beach castle, you can still find the famous water sports school Charchulla, which was already opened in 1975 by the Charchulla twins. Here adults and children can book courses for windsurfing, kiting, sailing and SUPing.
Just a few hundred meters away, you can rent a boat for a little spin even without a boating license, or rent a pedal boat on the south beach.
The south beach itself is partly DLRG supervised, and the water only slowly gets deeper, making it perfect for big and small swimmers. It is also only a few hundred meters to the dog beach. This means that if you bring your dog, he too can enjoy the cool water and sand while romping on the beach.

Location and surroundings of object
Directly on the beach, more sea does not go: the south beach is the most popular bathing beach of the island with fine sand and monitored by the DLRG. The vacation home is located in the apartment house "Die Strandburg" directly on the fine sandy south beach of the sunny island of Fehmarn. To get bread rolls, you only need to use the elevator. At the bakery in the house, you get everything for your breakfast. There is also an ice cream parlor and a beach store in the house.

It was wonderful again.
We, as a family of 2 adults and 2 children, have already been in the beautiful vacation apartment for the third year. In the meantime, there is the feeling of coming home a bit. A big compliment also to our island baker Börke, the team is wonderful. Overall, another very nice vacation.

Good location, somewhat aged in parts.
We really liked the accommodation overall, especially the location right near the beach with the bakery around the corner. The daily entry to the swimming pool was great for our children, but it is only conditionally recommended in bad weather due to the very high demand. The apartment is very spacious and has basically everything you need. We only missed a few shelves in the large closet.
