Description
The apartment is located on the edge of the center of cozy Lagos. From the apartment, you can walk directly into the city with its restaurants, bars, boutiques, etc. It is a 10-minute walk to the nearest beaches (e.g. Praia Dona Ana). Supermarket and other shops are very close by.
The complex 'Muralha Apartments' is small (4 floors) and is located in a quiet part of Lagos. The section in which our apartment is located consists of 8 apartments and has two elevators and a private parking space that is accessible by elevator.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor. There are two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, and plenty of outdoor space (terraces at the front and back). From the large terrace you have a fantastic view of the old city wall, the center of Lagos and behind it the Monchique mountains, as well as the sea and the Meia Praia, the largest beach in Lagos.
The apartment is completely newly furnished and equipped with every imaginable comfort. The bedrooms and the living room are air-conditioned. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating. Equipment: Dishwasher, gas stove with extractor hood, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, built-in oven, built-in microwave, large refrigerator with freezer compartment, etc. There is more than enough cutlery, glasses, cooking utensils, etc. for 4 people. Good WiFi, smart TV with Dutch and foreign channels, speaker for music.
The large outdoor terrace has a lounge sofa, a dining table, and an outdoor kitchen with a mobile gas grill. The small terrace has two deck chairs and a bistro table with chairs. On the two terraces you can fully enjoy the outdoors! In the morning you have breakfast in the sun on one terrace, in the evening you barbecue at the large table on the other terrace.

Here you feel at home.
We spent the winter in Lagos with 2 people for 4 months in this beautiful and lovingly furnished apartment. We can fully agree with the previous reviews. We were warmly welcomed by the Chatrou family. If there was a problem, it was addressed immediately and a solution was sought. Everything needed was available; we missed nothing and can only recommend the apartment, which is very centrally located. The view towards Lagos and the Monchique mountains as well as the beach is simply beautiful. All in all, the apartment is very clean, high-quality, and fully furnished. We felt at home and would book the apartment again. We would especially like to thank Astrid & Jan-Peter for their hospitality and warm welcome.

Perfect accommodation in Lagos!
We can only agree with the many reviews with full marks - in terms of spaciousness, cleanliness, and facilities, the apartment is top-notch! Particularly positive was the friendliness, reliability, and flexibility of Astrid and Jan-Peter.
The location is excellent. One is quickly in the city, with countless dining options. There are also plenty of shopping opportunities for self-catering (large Intermarché & Lidl in less than 10 minutes by car). The beaches of Lagos are also quickly accessible. The central location of Lagos is an advantage for our hikes along the coast and in the Monchique mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and highly recommend the accommodation.

Highly recommendable!
After a very nice and informative communication in advance, a warm and personal welcome followed on site. We found a personally and attractively furnished and fully equipped apartment that exceeded all our expectations. Of course, this is always a personal assessment, but everything was available, from the Nespresso machine to the grill, baking dishes, freezer, washing machine, oven, and microwave. And to be woken up by the sun in December and January and then being able to enjoy this sun until the afternoon (optionally also on loungers) with a coffee on the balcony was great. There is also a second balcony, equally beautiful and well furnished, with a stunning view of the city, the Monchique mountains, Meia Praia, and a side view of the sea, which, being northwest facing, also allows for necessary shade in the summer. When you leave the apartment, which is located in a very clean and safe residential complex, you enter the old town after a few meters through one of the gates in the city wall, and you can reach either the marina or the beach in about 10-15 minutes. And even for the rental car (if you have one), a shady spot is reserved in the garage ;). So, for families with children (including teenagers who will surely enjoy using the skate park opposite), seniors, or even two couples, we would definitely recommend the apartment without reservation.

Excellent accommodation
The apartment was perfect for our vacation in Lagos. It is super well equipped and furnished with great attention to detail. You feel directly welcome and at home.
Everything was very clean and tidy and nothing was missing. The equipment corresponds to the description and the apartment looks exactly like the pictures shown.
Mr. and Mrs. Chatrou are very warm hosts who take great care of their guests. They were always wonderfully accessible. The communication was very uncomplicated and we were provided with many valuable information and tips.
The apartment is in a great location. There is a small supermarket directly opposite, larger ones are not far away. The beautiful old town with the adjacent harbor and many restaurants and shops can be reached on foot in a few minutes. There are many beautiful beaches in the area, some of which can be reached on foot or in a few minutes by car. The residential area and the house itself are quiet.
It was a completely successful stay - we would love to come back anytime.
