Description
Experience an unforgettable holiday in our charming holiday home. It is very suitable for those seeking peace and quiet. Our cosy, sun-drenched house offers space for two to three people and is situated in an idyllic and quiet location, surrounded by nature and fresh air.
The holiday home is a detached bungalow with approx. 70 sqm of living space. It is temporarily used by us personally for recreation and is designed with attention to detail.
The heart of the house is a large dining area with an open, fully equipped kitchen. From here you have access to the terrace and an unobstructed view of the garden and the lake. Here you can relax, barbecue or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Garden furniture, two sun loungers and a parasol are provided. The terrace, which cannot be seen from the outside, is shaded by an electric awning.
The cosy living room is adjacent. A wing chair invites you to browse. The sofa in the living room can be used as a third bed if required. The bedroom is equipped with a large double bed and a spacious wardrobe. Directly next to it is the spacious bathroom with shower and bathtub. In addition, there is a guest WC.
A carport and additional parking spaces are available in front of the house. You can store your own bicycles in the garden shed. Two bicycles (an e-bike and a trekking bike) can also be rented for a small fee.
Directly behind the holiday home is the garden and a natural lake, which is ideal for swimming. The private jetty gives you easy access. The lake (7,500 sqm in size) is surrounded by gardens and meadows and offers a quiet and relaxed ambience. It is only accessible to residents. So you can enjoy the sun and the beauty of nature undisturbed.

Location and surroundings of object
The location of our holiday home is another great advantage for our guests. The holiday home is located directly on the border with the Netherlands. This allows you to experience the cultural diversity of both countries and enjoy local specialities. The German and Dutch junction system allows you to go on bicycle tours and explore the beauty of both countries. There are many cycling and walking routes that you can start directly from our holiday home. For example, you can enjoy a picturesque ride along the river "Berkel" and get to know charming villages and historic towns.
The Zwillbrocker Venn (approx. 2 km away), a bird sanctuary, is another highlight that you can hike near our holiday home. The Zwillbrocker Venn is home to unique wildlife, including the only wild flamingo colony in Germany. These colourful birds breed in summer on an island in the Venn and raise their offspring there. In late summer they fly back to their winter quarters. Guided tours are offered at the Biological Station.
The baroque church of Zwillbrock regularly offers Sunday concerts.

Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 4 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the booking amount minus the price for the first night and the cancellation fee.

The daily rate is 90 euros (winter season) and 105 euros (summer season) for two people, plus a final cleaning fee of 60 euros. A third person is possible on request. Arrival and departure on Saturday and Sunday are only possible by prior arrangement.
Linen packages with bed linen and towels (normal towel, shower towel and bath towel for the outdoor area) can be booked for your stay. A washing machine and dryer are available for your individual use at any time.
The windows are equipped with insect screens and roller shutters. The floor is tiled throughout the house.
Shopping facilities, restaurants and sights are within easy reach by car or bicycle.

Komfortables Ferienhaus
Das Haus hat eine gehobene Ausstattung und ist schön dekoriert . Hier kann man sich wohl fühlen und entspannen. Sehr netter Vermieter und eine gute vor Ort Betreuung. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Relaxing short vacation
Very quiet location. We couldn't enjoy the lake due to autumn weather, but instead, we had many beautiful bike tours thanks to the great maps and recommendations, an informative hike through the Venn, a visit to the biological station, and the farmers' market in Winterswijk. The house is cozy and clean. The kitchen equipment left nothing to be desired. We would be happy to return.

The holiday home is excellently equipped, everything clean, very well-maintained condition and in a quiet location.
Very friendly and uncomplicated landlord/landlady, also the on-site support by the G family was perfect.
I can only recommend this holiday home and would love to come back again!!!

You feel comfortable here!!
The accommodation is fully equipped. All rooms are spacious, so you feel comfortable right away. The spacious terrace with a direct view of the lake invites you to relax. Quietly located, close to a nature reserve with many opportunities for hiking and cycling. We will be back!!

Spacious rooms, barrier-free house with lake view, top accommodation in an idyllic and quiet location.
As an older couple (over 80 years old), we really enjoyed the accessibility in this wonderfully spacious house, which has been beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished.
The tranquility by the lake, the possibility of finding shade under the awning during strong sunlight, and the comfortable beds were ideal for us.
Everything you need for a nice vacation is available in the house.
We would love to come back.
