Description
The house is located in a quiet holiday village.
There is a restaurant with a summer terrace in the holiday village.
From the living room you can go directly to the terrace with a gazebo for shelter.
From the terrace you have an unobstructed view of a tributary (Wettern) to the Elbe.
You can walk along the Wettern to the Elbe dike.
From the living room you enter the well-equipped kitchen with a dining table and a corner bench.
There is one bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with a single bed and a sleeping chair (fold-out).
From the hallway you enter the bathroom with shower.
A marked parking space for your car is provided for you near the house.
The approx. 360 m² property is completely fenced in.

Location and surroundings of object
Situated in a well-kept holiday resort in the immediate vicinity of the mighty Lower Elbe, this pleasant house is the starting point for excursions of all kinds: bicycle tours along the Elbe with a refreshment break at the confluence of the Lühe and Elbe rivers in Grünendeich, which is well worth seeing. A walk with the children along the dyke to the Bassenfleth bathing beach, whose two-kilometre-long shore sand invites you to laze in the sun. The children build their sand castles and everyone admires the ocean liners passing by on the wide stream.
In the village, the Venti amica windmill grinds grain; you can buy the freshly ground flour right there.
From Steinkirchen there is a tranquil walk on the Lühe dike; along the river with beautiful views over orchards and past the typical farmhouses of the Alte Land.
A trip to Estebrügge with its hand-operated swing bridge is also recommended.
The historic Hanseatic towns of Stade and Buxtehude can be reached by bike and also by car or bus after a short drive and invite you to an entertaining day trip.
A visit to the cosmopolitan city of Hamburg is a must. We recommend taking the ferry, which departs from the Lühe jetty in the morning and returns in the evening.
In the summer season, the ferry also calls at Twielenfleth if bookings are available. Bookings at 'elblinien' on the internet.
Little insider tip: Be sure to visit the quaint "Kaffeeklappe" in Twielenfleth "on the Elbe" during the high season!
Spending an afternoon on a swaying pontoon with coffee and cake and a chat with the other guests is a highlight.
The pearl of the Alte Land; Jork is also not to be missed.
Nature lovers can explore the orchards around the house with their impressive variety of fruit trees.

The accommodation has everything you need, communication with the landlord was perfect as well. The holiday village is very well maintained and very quiet. You can explore the surroundings on foot or by bike.
The dike with a view of the Elbe and the beautiful sandy beach is incredible.
We can highly recommend a holiday there, we would love to come back.
