The holiday home is located in the agricultural-historical village of Alt Schwerin on the B192.
The accommodation is on the landlords' property, in a separate building. Alt Schwerin is a municipality in the district of Müritz in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District and surrounded by numerous lakes (such as Lake Plauer See, Lake Drewitzer See, Lake Tauchower See, Lake Fleesensee)
It is only a short distance to Germany's largest inland lake, the "MÜRITZ", and to the Müritz National Park.
The village also offers recreational opportunities in the form of a visit to the museum of agricultural history, swimming opportunities, hiking and cycling tours and much more.
In the surrounding area, the region around Alt-Schwerin offers further recreational opportunities (bear forest, monkey forest, summer toboggan run, DDR museum, Müritzeum, etc.).

Very nice cozy small holiday apartment
Thank you very much, Bening family, for the wonderful vacation we were able to spend with you! Everything was great, especially your hospitality! The apartment was very well equipped; everything was there except for a small laundry cabinet! Thank you also for the very good excursion tips! We felt very comfortable! Well, the apartment is located on the main road, but it didn't bother us; we always slept very well!!!

Small but mighty
Well furnished small vacation apartment, well suited for short vacations with meals taken outside. Small meals can still be prepared in the small kitchen. Unfortunately, only a shower cabin in the bathroom, but as mentioned, not a problem for short-term vacationers. Unfortunately, during our stay, there was a heavily trafficked main road (mostly trucks) due to construction work in the area for highway ramps.
