Holiday home EVELO in the Dünenresidenz on the Baltic Sea beach "Schaabe", Glowe on Rügen

Your holiday home is a cozy thatched-roof house on a 700 sqm plot with old trees, yet still sunny. The terrace is sheltered, a small garden house offers space for garden furniture, bicycles, and toys. At the house you will find 2 parking spaces. For your little ones, we have a playhouse with a slide and sandbox in the garden. On the ground floor, you will find a living/dining room of almost 40 sqm with a generously equipped kitchen: large refrigerator with *** freezer compartment, built-in stove with ceramic cooktop and oven, dishwasher, microwave, and everything you need to cook well and quickly. A standing table offers the possibility for a small snack or a drink while standing. Grandma’s old kitchen cupboard gives the modern kitchen a cozy atmosphere. The dining room with a view of the terrace is characterized by a large table with 6 chairs (a high chair for children is available). In a cozy corner you will find a couch and 2 armchairs with a view of the fireplace and/or the television. From the living room, you walk through the hallway with a wardrobe and shoe cabinet into a bathroom with shower, toilet, and a Finnish sauna. In a small utility room, a washing machine is available for your use. The floor throughout the entire ground floor is tiled (underfloor heating). Via a wooden staircase (with anti-slip covering) you reach the upper floor with 3 bedrooms and a large bathroom with shower, bathtub, and toilet. One bedroom is furnished with a 1.80 m double bed and a TV, the second with a 1.60 m double bed and also with a TV. The third room, a children's room, has a cabin bed from which a second bed can be pulled out (a travel cot for children is also available, but it must be assembled and disassembled). Here there are painting and children's books on a table. The room is equipped with child-friendly lighting. The bedrooms and the hallway upstairs have laminate flooring (underfloor heating). We expressly ask dog owners not to take their four-legged friends upstairs into the bedrooms.

Your EVELO holiday home is located in the Dünenresidenz - a holiday home complex with well-kept paths and green areas and a small lighthouse. There is a very nice playground, a large fishing pond and a boules court. The beach can be reached on foot in less than 5 minutes. GLOWE is located at the southern end of the SCHAABE, an approximately 8 km long spit that connects the Wittow and Jasmund peninsulas and was first mentioned in a document in 1314. The small seaside resort has a wonderful sandy beach that stretches across the entire Schaabe, making the area a true bathing paradise. A spa clinic, a small harbour, hotels, cafés and restaurants along the beach promenade and the main street make Glowe, picturesquely situated between the Great Jasmund Bodden (surfers' paradise) and the Baltic Sea, an ideal holiday resort.

In Glowe you have all shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity of the Dünenresidenz: Bakery, fresh fish and smoked fish on the beach promenade, fresh fish directly from the fishermen in the sailing harbour of Glowe, Netto and beverage market. All this is within walking distance.

On the beach promenade you can buy smoked fish from the Glowe fishermen or enjoy the fish directly on site with a view of the Baltic Sea. In Glowe's small marina at the end of the promenade, both fresh fish and delicious fish sandwiches are offered directly from the former converted fishing boat. Benches and tables and a small kiosk turn a visit to the harbour into a stroll right by the Baltic Sea. Enjoy a snack and a drink while watching the sunset.

additional information about rental price:

The weekly price does not include any additional costs. Final cleaning, bed linen and a basic set of towels are charged separately. If you are travelling with your dog, additional cleaning costs of 35 € will be charged. The dog is charged at different prices depending on the season, at least 8 per day; the tourist tax is charged separately with the tourist tax. This is currently 2.00 euros per adult in the HS and is deducted from the deposit (200 euros, which we transfer back immediately after acceptance by our house service). Our calculation is based on 2 adults and 2 children. From the 3rd child we charge a surcharge of at least 8 € per child and day depending on the season and per adult at least 10 € per day depending on the season.

In our garden shed there are bicycles for our guests, which you can use free of charge. Should you not be able to manage with these, you can also hire bicycles in Glowe.
