Welcome to our apartment "Ostseepier", renovated in 2022, in House G in the Heiligenhafen holiday park.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor and has a living area of 45 sqm. In the entrance area of our high-quality furnished holiday apartment, there is a spacious kitchen area with a 4-burner stove (ceramic hob), oven, and dishwasher. The further equipment includes a refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee machine, Cafissimo capsule machine, kettle, toaster, radio, drying rack, and plenty of dishes, cutlery, and glasses.
Opposite the kitchen unit is a spacious wardrobe with ample space for jackets and shoes. There are individual compartments available for other small items.
The open living area features a cozy sofa corner with a large TV and internet radio. The dining area for four people is located directly by the window.
The separate bedroom with double bed (180x200 cm) and TV has an exterior window with blinds and ample closet space. In the separate children's room, there is a bunk bed with two sleeping places (each 90x200 cm) and a window to the living area, which can be darkened with a roller blind. Additionally, there is the possibility to fold out a small workspace in the children's room.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and washbasin, as well as a small storage cabinet.
All rooms have high-quality vinyl flooring.
The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 4 people. This is a non-smoking apartment and pets are not allowed. Free Wi-Fi is available.
For the balcony, there are two comfortable chairs with cushions and a table. For sun protection, the available awning or the blinds can be extended. For drying swimwear in summer, a clothes rack with sufficient pegs is provided.
Bed linen and towels must be brought. Free parking spaces are sufficiently available in the holiday park.

Location and surroundings of object
The apartment is located in the Baltic Sea Holiday Park Heiligenhafen. There is a large, newly designed playground directly in the holiday park. The beach is about 300 m from the house and can be quickly reached by a short walk along the promenade.
Directly adjacent to the holiday park is the "Aktiv-Hus" with swimming pool, sauna and wellness area, and a children's play world. There is also a bakery and a laundromat here. Various shops and restaurants as well as a bicycle and pedal car rental and a great mini-golf course are adjacent.
It is about 2 km from the Baltic Sea holiday park to the town center and the harbors. You can take a pleasant walk along the lakeside promenade or along the beach. Those traveling by car will find many free parking spaces at the other end of the lake (adjacent to the harbors and town center). In addition, there is an hourly bus line from the holiday park. All bus transportation in Heiligenhafen is free for vacationers.
What does Heiligenhafen offer?
Four kilometers of sandy beach and dune landscape: Whether you’re a water lover, sun worshipper, or sandcastle builder, everyone can find their perfect stretch of beach here. Of course, the beach chairs are not missing either. In the Ostseepier apartment, use of the beach chair is included.
Heiligenhafen is a beautiful small town with a town center and marketplace. Heiligenhafen was probably founded as a port town in the middle of the 13th century through the merging of several villages. The town is proud of its many historic half-timbered buildings. Every Wednesday and every Saturday, the weekly market takes place on the marketplace from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Other events such as the May Festival or the Christmas gathering "Lichterglanz" also take place there. Numerous boutiques and souvenir shops line the streets up to the municipal harbor. The municipal harbor is the home port of the Heiligenhafen fishing boats and the ships that offer excursion, sightseeing, and fishing trips. All around the municipal harbor there are a variety of shops and restaurants, which primarily offer delicious fish dishes.
A promenade leads on to the yacht harbor. The yacht harbor, also called Marina Heiligenhafen, offers space for 1,000 sailing or motor yachts at 15 piers. From there, the promenade continues with many shops and restaurants directly to the adventure pier.
The adventure pier follows a zigzag course and offers a covered lounge, relaxation areas with seating and reclining options, play areas for children, and a bathing platform. In the covered, all-around glazed Baltic Sea lounge, you can enjoy the view even in less pleasant weather.
Adjacent to the pier, Graswarder soon begins. Graswarder consists mainly of an approx. 2.5 km long nature reserve, in which a wide variety of animal and plant species have settled and are also actively protected. During the guided tours of the Nature Conservation Association (NABU), which take place from March to October, a wealth of knowledge about nature is imparted. In addition, there is a 12 m high observation tower on Graswarder, which offers a good view over the Baltic Sea, the salt marshes, the harbor, the Fehmarnsund Bridge, and towards Fehmarn. On the peninsula between the Baltic Sea and the protected area stand some famous houses, among them the “Wotan” house, which has already served as a filming location for several crime movies, and the “Blue House”, which is probably one of the most frequently photographed houses.
Anyone who walks westward from the holiday park along the bathing beach by the Baltic Sea will soon reach the cliffs. The lighthouse can be seen from afar. Another way to reach the cliffs is the path from the holiday park's parking lot across the fields. The famous Galloway cattle also graze there. Whether via the beach path or across the fields, it is a special experience to let the wind blow around your nose at the cliffs. At the cliffs, you can hike both above and below along the beach.
The inland lake stretches from the salt meadows behind the holiday park to the marina, where it flows into the Baltic Sea. He has a shoreline length of 4.5 km. The path around the lake is 5.4 km long and offers enough space for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as recreational opportunities at various points through benches and rotating wooden loungers, as well as many playgrounds for children.

Perfect apartment in the beautiful Heiligenhafen
From booking to check-out, everything was perfect. But let's start from the beginning: The booking through the website went smoothly, and on the same day, I received a friendly email from the landlord. One day before arrival, she contacted us again and informed us about the extended check-in and check-out times and sent us information about the property. We were allowed to check in from 11 AM and use the apartment until 2 PM on the last day. This is by no means a matter of course and has greatly sweetened our short vacation. Everything was very relaxed. The apartment is located in the holiday park Heiligenhafen, right by the sea. The holiday park is somewhat older, large, and perhaps not the most attractive, but really well-maintained - there is always investment here. Surrounding it are some pubs and restaurants, ice cream shops, bakeries, a mini self-service store, and a few small souvenir shops. One can take beautiful hikes around the inland lake and into the hinterland. A small swimming pool and a play hall for the little ones are also available. The marina and city center are quickly reachable by bus, bicycle (rental in the holiday park), or even on foot. Regarding the apartment: 2nd floor with a small view of the inland lake. Well thought out, simply perfect, every little niche has been utilized, and everything has truly been extracted from the small apartment, a real gem. I haven't slept this well in a long time; everything can be darkened, and the beds are very comfortable. Also, in the children's room, there are many storage options, everything is custom-made. Professionals were at work here. Top equipment in the kitchen; I could have cooked a meal. The bathroom is sufficiently large. The living room is super well furnished and thought out, cozy and sufficiently large, as the kitchen is integrated into the hallway. Conclusion: If the apartment were for sale, I would buy it immediately and change nothing. We felt very comfortable.
