Great location with furnishings in need of improvement: Unfortunately, we leave the cabin with very mixed feelings. On one hand, a great location with a wonderful view, uncomplicated and very friendly support from Christine – on the other hand, many deficiencies that should not exist with a rental price of approximately 2300.- (per week, making about just under 10,000.- per month). The positive aspect is the location: the cabin is situated in a secluded spot on a mountainside, here you really have your peace. In front of the cabin, there is a seating area, next to the cabin a shed equipped with a sauna. The cabin itself is small (estimated 50-60 sqm), on the upper floor a bathroom and 2 bedrooms, each offering 3 beds, but no wardrobes. The bathroom is functional and completely fine. On the ground floor, there is a second bathroom, the kitchen area with a seating group, and next to it a porch with another 2 beds, one of which is approximately 180 cm long. Criticism points are: - Very old furnishings: among others. a coffee machine, whose plastic has turned brown and which definitely has 20 years behind it, televisions that were already outdated 10 years ago, cookware with damaged coatings, hard and uncomfortable mattresses on which we unfortunately slept poorly - cleanliness: many cobwebs in the bedrooms and kitchen, oven unfortunately dirty, cutlery smeared upon arrival, had to be cleaned first - exterior in urgent need of renovation: the railing on the steep slope of the house rotten and weathered, some wooden elements already torn off, seating furniture partly rotten and with resulting broken elements; grill chimney definitely unusable for food, grill grates thickly caked in black, roof of the chimney burned through by fire, therefore it rains inside and creates a completely dirty grill. When renting such a small cabin for relatively a lot of money, it is a matter of decency towards the guest that the promised amenities are also flawless and correspond in quality to the demanded rent. The aforementioned deficiencies could be remedied with a comparatively small effort. 30.- for a new coffee machine, 500.- for 2 decent televisions, approx. 800. - for comfortable mattresses of simple design and bedding that is not old and musty – the impression would already be significantly better. The partly concerning conditions outside, especially the railing at the edge of the demolition, are hardly acceptable. It’s a pity that the owner sees his role as a host connected to the guest so little. Here we know from Austria – the country with actually exemplary gastronomy and accommodation – quite a different situation. This criticism is all the more valid as the price for the cabin is indeed high, and one is right to expect a flawless accommodation in terms of details for that.

Overall a nice stay, the cabin was charming and had a nice layout, the only downside was the weather, but we made the best of our time, would definitely be worth considering returning in the summer to explore more of the hiking trails!

Perfect for a winter retreat! The cabin was warm and welcoming, and we appreciated having two bathrooms for our group. The local dining options, especially Rosi's Alm Kitzbühel, were fantastic and really added to our experience.

I enjoyed my time at the Stiermoos cabin, although it was a bit smaller than I expected for six people. However, it was clean and well-maintained. The natural swimming lake at Hollidee was an excellent addition during the summer.

Great place for a family vacation! We loved the adventure playground nearby for the kids. The cabin itself was comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the grill on the patio. A fantastic base for exploring Hohe Tauern National Park.

Spacious area, super comfortable beds, and the kitchen is well-equipped. I can't believe how close it is to the ski slopes and hiking trails. Also, the balcony is lit for those sunset photos. 10/10 I would go back.
