1. Upper floor: The living floor of the chalet – here you will find the light-flooded dining area with a large dining table that comfortably seats 10 people. In addition, this floor has two separate living areas, each with sofa sets and a coffee table: one with a large smart TV (screen diagonal 127 cm), the other by the open fireplace. Access to the surrounding panoramic balcony. Modern, fully equipped open-plan kitchen. Separate WC. OG: The 5 double rooms each have an en-suite bathroom with WC. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with a king-size double bed (180 x 200 cm). The remaining bedrooms each have two single beds that can be joined together. The chalet exudes a cozy, comfortable charm thanks to the use of high-quality materials such as natural stone.
Ground floor: Here you will find the wellness area with sauna and shower, a multipurpose room/storage room, as well as the garage. In good conditions, you can ski easily downhill along the road back to the chalet (not marked; at your own risk). Distance to the center of Les Collons ~750 m. The charming holiday resort offers shops, restaurants, après-ski bars, bank, post office, ski rental, ski school. Nearby Thyon 2000 offers an indoor pool as well as childcare (from 18 months; winter season), ~6 km. Attractive winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes.

Chalet altitude ~1700 m, ski area up to m (Mont Fort glacier). Distance to the ski slope ~400 m. This is part of the top ski area Les Collons - Verbier - Quatre Vallées. "Skiing at the highest level" with 410 km of slopes and numerous fantastic ski routes. New express chairlift 'Ethérolla'. From Greppon Blanc ( m) magnificent off-piste descent "L'Eteygeon" (not marked or groomed; at your own risk) over vertical meters into a side valley; return by bus. Large snowpark "Centralpark" at Thyon. Attractive toboggan run between Thyon and Les Collons. Artificial ice rink in Hérémence. The region offers ~12 km of cross-country ski trails. The chalet is equipped with garden furniture, deck chairs, and a charcoal grill. The approximately 750 m² garden is enclosed by a wooden fence.
Les Collons also has much to offer in spring, summer, and autumn; in particular, the diverse hiking and mountain biking tours attract visitors. You can take walks with gentle inclines along the "Suonen" (former irrigation channels). Other activities include horseback riding, climbing, gliding, and bowling. A stroll through historic Sion, the capital of Valais, as well as a boat trip on the underground lake of St-Léonard, are worthwhile. Another highlight is the 285 m high Grande Dixence dam.
The popular ski resort Les Collons is situated in a prime balcony location above the Val d'Hérens—a side valley of the Rhone Valley—between the traditional village of Hérémence and the well-known ski station Thyon 2000. The picture-book panorama stretches all the way to the four-thousanders Matterhorn and Dent Blanche. The chalets are located outside the center, loosely arranged and in a scenic hillside location. In the village center you will find shops, restaurants, après-ski bars, and a ski school. Les Collons belongs to the "4 Vallées" ski area and is connected by ski lifts, cable cars, and slopes with Veysonnaz, the Mont Fort glacier, and Verbier.

Pure luxury in the mountains
We are thrilled with the chalet: lots of space, classy design, everything available, but also cosily furnished. We walked the 400 m to the piste from Les Collons to Les Masses. The view from the chalet is not bad either. You don't live in the centre of the ski resort, but you can get there on foot in 10 minutes. The village of Les Collons consists mainly of chalets, we did not find a real core village. The villages of Heremence and Vex further down the valley are really quaint, with old wooden Valaisan stadiums, typical shops, etc.

nothing is missing, great view over the Rhone valley. Unfortunately hardly any German programmes on the TV
