The holiday home, built in 2021, offers space for up to 7 people + baby on around 90 sqm.
Three separate bedrooms, two bathrooms with ground-level shower and a spacious living-dining area are at your disposal during your holiday. In the large garden you can enjoy the sun from early to late. You will find a barbecue in the lockable garden hut. The holiday home also has two parking spaces.
If you are travelling with an electric car and would like to use the charging station, please let us know when booking so that we can activate the box for you.

The Sonnenfänger holiday home is quietly located in a play street only 900m from the sea. Around the corner you will find an Edeka market with bakery. The centre of the village with cafés, restaurants and shopping facilities is less than 15 minutes away.

Are you planning a holiday without a car?
By train you arrive in Wilhelmshaven, from where the bus runs almost to the front door. The bus stop is only 300 m away. During your stay you can use the holiday bus for only 1 € / way. In addition, with your guest card you can use one of the E-flitzer for up to 4 hours / day free of charge.
Our "Bimmelbahn", the Frida, not only takes you on beautiful tours along the sea, but also to Jever on Wednesdays. After a leisurely stroll through the town, we return at midday.
Don't forget the e-bike - Wangerland offers great cycle paths along the water to Wilhelmshaven, but also into the hinterland.

Absolute rescue in storm & snow!
Sara was simply incredible! ? When we were literally stuck due to the storm and heavy snowfall, she took us in completely uncomplicated and with great warmth in her holiday apartment. Such humanity is really rare.
The apartment was super cozy, warm, clean, and perfectly equipped – exactly what you need in such weather. You immediately felt safe and welcome. Sara was always reachable, extremely helpful, and simply a wonderful person. Thanks to her, what was originally a stressful exceptional situation turned into a really pleasant stay. We are infinitely grateful to her and would come back anytime. 1000% recommendation! ? ❄️

Everything perfect?
We spent a week with my parents at the holiday home Sonnenfänger and we had very nice days there. Upon our arrival, everything was prepared and we felt comfortable from the first minute. Special thanks for the jam.

Beautiful house but very poor service.

Below is a list of the most significant service deficiencies:
Upon our arrival, we found the holiday home in a completely cooled-down state. And that in the middle of winter. Due to the underfloor heating and partly limited thermostats in the regulation, it took almost three days to get the house warm again.
Not all beds were covered with bed sheets as requested and confirmed. A free bed allocation could no longer be arranged.
The house did not make a particularly well-cleaned impression. For example, the oven and the baking tray were dirty. The cooktop still had large burnt spots. Cobwebs were hanging from the extractor hood.
After the complaint to Mrs. Graf, the cleaning staff was supposed to address the most obvious deficiencies. Unfortunately, this good woman did not show up. Our contact person was Ms. Graf, who appeared very friendly and competent. Unfortunately, Ms. Graf was not present during our vacation date. Perhaps things would have gone differently then.

Unsere Putzfee bedauert es ebenso, dass Sie mit ihrer Arbeit nicht zufrieden waren, betont jedoch auch, dass sie mehrfach versucht hat Sie anzutreffen.
Es ist richtig, dass ich mich während Ihres Aufenthalts selbst im Urlaub befand - ich war und bin für unsere Gäste trotzdem zu jeder Zeit per Mail oder mobil erreichbar.
Wie schon per Mail mitgeteilt, würden wir uns sehr freuen, wenn wir Sie bei einem zweiten Besuch von unserem Haus und unserem Service überzeugen dürfen.

Beautiful summer holiday
