Description
The house is quietly situated above the well-known holiday resort of Porticcio. From the spacious terrace as well as from the large balcony on the first floor, you have a great view of the sea and the island's capital Ajaccio. The beautiful beach is a good kilometre away. Many other beaches can be reached quickly by car. The house was completely renovated in 2022 and is perfectly equipped with air conditioning in all living rooms and bedrooms, WiFi, espresso machine, dishwasher, 2 fridges with freezer compartment, washing machine, Weber barbecue, Fermob loungers, German satellite TV as well as Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. Take a boat from the nearby pier to the island's capital Ajaccio with its many sights. Or stay in the town of Porticcio, which has a great beach as well as plenty of good restaurants and shopping. Or just hang out on the terrace, in the garden or on the large balcony. You can easily park the car on the nearby street.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located in a settlement above the village of Portico, on the edge of the maquis. The maquis is the typical Corsican mixture of shrubs and holm oaks. You can walk to the very nice beach with restaurants and shopping facilities (about 1 km). However, as it is then about 150 m uphill again on the way back, we prefer to take the car.

Comfortable holiday home to feel good
We (a couple) had a great three-week vacation in September. The house has everything you need. Nothing was missing and we felt absolutely comfortable there. The house is very well equipped, renovated and modernly furnished. Two new shower rooms on the ground floor and 1st floor. A new kitchen, functional and well planned, which was highly appreciated by us as demanding hobby cooks. Very large terrace and balcony, each with a fantastic view of Ajaccio, the bay and the spectacular sunsets over the Îles Sanguinaires. Good (starting) location for beach visits, trips to the mountains, Ajaccio (ferry from Porticcio) and the surrounding area or even more distant destinations. We also made day trips to Bonifacio, Corte and the Calanche, among others. A car is necessary. Very nice landlord. It was helpful for us to take the evening ferry and rent a cabin. Everything was tip-top!

Fine house with style and very special chic
A beautiful house with style for families with children or even couples. The kitchen is excellently equipped, there is no shortage of dishes or utensils for cooking or celebrating. The furnishings are stylish; genuine furniture classics meet modern chic. Great shower rooms, wonderful terraces with sensational views. Cozy garden and nice neighbor who is immediately available for questions or requests. Quiet location, nice for walking, parking directly at the house. We would love to come back with our child and family!
