Description

"Moin Moin" is what we say in the north. This greeting is appropriate at any time of day and always strikes the right note.
Our new holiday home (***** own classification, DTV has been applied for) is waiting for you on the Wurster North Sea coast, in the district of Nordholz. House "KompassRose", built in 2023 ! A smart accommodation that loves the sun and the wind, the harbour and the sea. On 120 m2 our "Rose" offers you loving luxury for 4 persons. To make it a perfect holiday, the cabins and galley are cosy and well equipped - but read for yourself!

All rooms are on one level and have an open-plan concept. This means that you can see all the way to the ridge in every room. That is why the house was deliberately built in the Danish holiday home style. Most of the rooms have white wooden ceilings.

1) Spacious 45m² living-dining area, comfortably furnished and equipped to a high standard: wood-burning stove, large 50'' flat screen TV with Bose soundbar. Let "ALEXA" suggest music or listen to the current weather report for your holiday region, the Elbe-Weser triangle. Alexa switches floor lamps on and off for you or you switch on the circulation pump via ALEXA so that you have hot water at the tapping points (e.g. shower) in 2 minutes.

2) Open, modern fitted kitchen, with everything you appreciate at home and don't want to miss on holiday: high-quality AEG brand appliances (Miele ceramic hob, raised oven, large fridge, built-in microwave, dishwasher, circulating air extractor bonnet), plenty of space and extensive accessories (coffee machine, toaster, kettle, blender, sharp solid kitchen knives, etc.).
Freezer (65 l) in the storage room. For your safety, there is a small fire extinguisher and a first aid kit in the kitchen.

3) 2 comfortably furnished bedrooms (starboard and port), each with 2 berths. Double beds in each room (2 x 90 x 200 cm mattresses). Each room has a flat screen TV. 1 x 32" satellite TV or 1 x 40" satellite TV with DVD combination.
1 room has a valet, chair, mirror, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers, so there is enough storage space for a long holiday. The 2nd bedroom also has 1 chest of drawers, chair, mirror and bedside tables. You can store your luggage in the walk-in wardrobe in this bedroom.

4) An elegant bathroom with shower, (at ground level and barrier-free), WC and access to your sauna.

5) Separate storage room with side entrance door for your bicycles. The 65 l freezer is also located here. Optionally, a man's bicycle is available here, e.g. to quickly fetch bread rolls in the morning. 20 Euro usage fee per week. Adjacent in the heating room you will find the combined washer-dryer, clothes horse, ironing board and iron.

We also offer an optional wallbox (11 KW) for charging your electric or hybrid car. Electricity is charged according to the kilowatts used and is not included in the rental price. Please ask for the current electricity price before arrival.

6) A guest toilet is located next to the entrance door.

All rooms are accessible from the central hallway. Each window and 3 patio doors are fitted with fly screens, electric shutters and pleated blinds. Each window and 3 terrace doors are equipped with fly screens, electric shutters and pleated blinds, so that you can leave the windows open even on warm summer nights. Thus, the small pests should stay outside.

Location and surroundings of object

Our newly built Scandinavian-style holiday home is located in the immediate vicinity of the North Sea dyke (5 minutes by car).
The UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea is practically on your doorstep. Discover the typical bird life with binoculars and a camera. The beaches in Cappel-Neufeld and Spieka-Neufeld are characterised by wide green beaches in front of the dikes of the Wurster North Sea coast, the sea and, at low tide, the almost endless mudflats.
A constant companion is the wind - sometimes gentle and soothing during the summer, sometimes stormy in autumn/winter. But the iodine-rich air will do you good all year round, and many holidaymakers come to the North Sea coast for that reason alone. In other words, a landscape that lets you breathe deeply. Discover the surroundings by bike or on long walks. Those seeking rest and relaxation will get their money's worth here. Experience the mudflats on a hike to Neuwerk Island on foot or by tidal flat car from Sahlenburg or Duhnen. High-sea lovers book a day trip by seaside ship or fast catamaran to Helgoland - Germany's only high-sea island about 60 km off the coast.
Cuxhaven with its sandy beaches (Sahlenburg / Duhnen or Döse) can be reached by bike or in about 15 minutes by car. In bad weather, the Havenwelten in Bremerhaven with the unique Emigration House, the Climate House, the Maritime Museum and other attractions around the harbour and seafaring attract visitors.

Important information:
The KompassRose is located in a general residential area / new construction area. You must expect construction activities on weekdays between 7:30 am and 6 pm. These activities are priced into the reduced rental price and therefore do not entitle you to make a complaint.
A plot in the immediate vicinity is still completely undeveloped. It is not yet clear when this will start.

Comfortable, clean, and cozy holiday home - also in winter

There was absolutely nothing to complain about regarding cleanliness!
Furnishings as shown in the pictures, nothing was missing, everything was really thought of when setting up the house!
The surroundings are very quiet. The way to the beach is about 20 minutes by car. Shopping options are ideally reachable on foot. Train station also nearby.

A holiday home without defects or complaints - Thank you very much!

A beautiful house, with TOP amenities, nothing is missing.

We felt very comfortable.
Everything is very maritime-themed and cozy.

Due to the season, we did not use the terrace and the garden.

Sufficient storage options for bicycles and accessories.

Central location between Cuxhaven, Bremerhaven, and the beautiful fishing ports.

Very beautiful house

We are repeat offenders, as we were already in the KompassRose last year.

The KompassRose is a very beautiful house that is fully equipped. Everything has really been thought of.

Mr. Hashagen, the landlord, is very friendly and responds quickly and reliably. He takes care of the well-being of his holiday guests.

We spent a very nice week in the Rose. The description of the house is 100% accurate. The amenities leave absolutely nothing to be desired. Everything was really thought of, we missed nothing. Holiday home of the extra class on the Wurster North Sea coast!

In September 2024, my wife and I spent our two-week vacation at the holiday home Kompassrose and were so thrilled that we became repeat visitors this year. There is nothing to add to my previous review that the Kompassrose is a holiday home of the highest class. We had some concerns about a single-family house being built next door, which turned out to be completely unfounded. As already noted in 2024, all the neighbors are very nice and friendly. For us, it is clear that the compass rose will again be our vacation destination in 2026. Bremerhaven, Cuxhaven, and the small fishing villages with their idyllic harbors have particularly captivated us.

Kleine Anmerkung: Der erwähnte Neubau wird 2025 vollkommen abgeschlossen, ist bereits zu 90 % fertig.

Great holiday home in Scandinavian style

The holiday home "KompassRose" pleased us very much with its Scandinavian style. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. With the open ceilings in the rooms, everything feels spacious and very relaxing. Undoubtedly a house of a special kind that stands out positively from other apartments. The furnishings are absolutely high quality, tasteful, and in like-new condition. There is nothing to complain about regarding cleanliness. Small crawling creatures or anything else; none to be found. Surely also through the insect protection screens in front of the windows and terrace doors, which we personally liked very much. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. Unfortunately, we had a few rainy days at the end of July, but the size of the KompassRose allowed us to pass the time with reading, playing, or sauna visits. Pure relaxation. The town center in Nordholz is about 1 km away, and you can get everything for daily needs. The shopping center is open until 10 PM. We were able to shop relaxed after our arrival.
The communication with the landlord, Mr. Hashagen, is also worth mentioning.
From the booking to the information about the house and surroundings, everything was very informative, and the exchange via email or WhatsApp was always very nice and warm. This also stands out from the often pre-prepared letters and standard emails of other holiday home agencies. We would like to join the guests from last year who wholeheartedly recommend this holiday home - anyone who spends their vacation here can't go wrong!

A great house

In the "KompassRose," nothing is missing! A tasteful decor, very good mattresses, very comfortable seating furniture inside and outside. The kitchen and bathroom are perfectly equipped. Vacation for relaxation

Beautiful holiday home where one can find peace. The central location leaves nothing to be desired and is perfect for day trips to the surrounding area. The compass rose is a very nice and pleasant holiday home. The facilities are great; you miss nothing – just like at home.

Mr. Hashagen, the landlord, is very friendly and can be reached quickly. He is helpful and cares for his guests.

A holiday home of the extra class at the Wurster North Sea!

My wife and I wanted to really relax at the North Sea and let the salty sea air blow around us. So we booked the Kompassrose in Nordholz. We were absolutely thrilled with the holiday home, which was only a year old. The location in a new residential area is very quiet and beautiful. We often used the great outdoor area and terrace until the evening hours. The rooms, with the modern bathroom and adjoining sauna, seemed exceptional to us. We had never had a bedroom with a walk-in closet before. The kitchen and the living room are already extraordinary, everything is unusually fully equipped and furnished; there was simply nothing missing. We were very impressed by the maritime orientation of the Compass Rose; there was always something to admire. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly contact with the owner, who made a great effort when necessary. So we will definitely return to the Compass Rose.

Holiday home of the extra class

The holiday home KompassRose is undoubtedly a holiday home of the highest class!
The furnishings are absolutely high-quality, stylish, and everything is in excellent and like-new condition.
The cleanliness upon our arrival was impeccable, and during our holiday week in the house, we lacked absolutely nothing. Thus, we were able to enjoy our vacation week without any restrictions and to the fullest!
The location of the house in a new housing estate in Nordholz is completely quiet. The house served as our base camp for our daily, extensive geocaching tours by bike to many places on the North Sea coast, to Cuxhaven, or to the Elbe beach. Everything is easily and quickly accessible by bike and of course by car. In Nordholz itself, there is a shopping center 1 km away for everything that covers daily needs and beyond. The communication with the landlord, Mr. Hashagen, was informative and helpful in every case (no questions were left unanswered) but above all always very pleasant and heartfelt, which definitely contributes to giving this holiday home the highest rating.
We can wholeheartedly recommend this holiday home - anyone who spends their vacation here cannot go wrong!
In conclusion, we say THANK YOU VERY MUCH and SEE YOU AGAIN!!!

Home for a While

We spent our two-week family vacation at the North Sea in the house Kompass Rose and enjoyed our time there very much! The house is well equipped and lovingly furnished. Nothing is missing, and everything was clean. Mr. Hashagen always responds quickly, and for our little "shutter problem," help arrived on a Sunday faster than the fire department! 😊 The location is quiet. In Nordholz there is everything for daily needs, and the coast/beach is 10 to 20 minutes away - depending on which beach you want to go to... Cuxhaven and Bremerhaven can be reached by car in 15 and 30 minutes respectively, and there are numerous leisure activities within a 30 km radius. In summary, everything from communication with Mr. Hashagen, through the booking and processing, to the house itself deserves the highest rating. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Relaxing holiday time

Had a very nice and relaxing vacation time in this tastefully furnished and well-equipped holiday home. Everything was very clean, nothing was lacking, and with the sauna and cozy furnishings, one can really relax and unwind. Mr. Hashagen is always reachable, and there was quick, uncomplicated, and very pleasant communication at all times. We can warmly recommend this great accommodation along with the friendly landlord to anyone who wants to have a nice vacation. For us, it was definitely not the last stay at the KompassRose.

A beautiful family vacation, 2 adults + 1 grandchild (7 years old)

The holiday home, the KompassRose, is not directly on the bathing beach.
In the immediate vicinity, there are medical services as well as various shopping options (REWE, LIDL, ROSSMANN, a pharmacy). The bathing beach can be reached in about 15-20 minutes.
Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven are quickly accessible by car. A day trip from Cuxhaven to Helgoland is recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay at the KompassRose. We will come back. See you soon.

Holiday at the North Sea

During our vacation at the North Sea, we felt very comfortable in this beautiful and lovingly furnished holiday home. The facilities leave nothing to be desired. Situated in a quiet new residential area, the KompassRose was the perfect starting point for various day trips to Bremerhaven, Cuxhaven, and to Helgoland by catamaran. Shopping facilities are within walking distance. The contact with the landlord Mr. Hashagen was very friendly and he was always available. We can recommend this holiday home without reservation.
