Description
"Moin Moin" is what we say in the north. This greeting is appropriate at any time of day and always strikes the right note.
Our new holiday home (***** own classification, DTV has been applied for) is waiting for you on the Wurster North Sea coast, in the district of Nordholz. House "KompassRose", built in 2023 ! A smart accommodation that loves the sun and the wind, the harbour and the sea. On 120 m2 our "Rose" offers you loving luxury for 4 persons. To make it a perfect holiday, the cabins and galley are cosy and well equipped - but read for yourself!
All rooms are on one level and have an open-plan concept. This means that you can see all the way to the ridge in every room. That is why the house was deliberately built in the Danish holiday home style. Most of the rooms have white wooden ceilings.
1) Spacious 45m² living-dining area, comfortably furnished and equipped to a high standard: wood-burning stove, large 50'' flat screen TV with Bose soundbar. Let "ALEXA" suggest music or listen to the current weather report for your holiday region, the Elbe-Weser triangle. Alexa switches floor lamps on and off for you or you switch on the circulation pump via ALEXA so that you have hot water at the tapping points (e.g. shower) in 2 minutes.
2) Open, modern fitted kitchen, with everything you appreciate at home and don't want to miss on holiday: high-quality AEG brand appliances (Miele ceramic hob, raised oven, large fridge, built-in microwave, dishwasher, circulating air extractor bonnet), plenty of space and extensive accessories (coffee machine, toaster, kettle, blender, sharp solid kitchen knives, etc.).
Freezer (65 l) in the storage room. For your safety, there is a small fire extinguisher and a first aid kit in the kitchen.
3) 2 comfortably furnished bedrooms (starboard and port), each with 2 berths. Double beds in each room (2 x 90 x 200 cm mattresses). Each room has a flat screen TV. 1 x 32" satellite TV or 1 x 40" satellite TV with DVD combination.
1 room has a valet, chair, mirror, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers, so there is enough storage space for a long holiday. The 2nd bedroom also has 1 chest of drawers, chair, mirror and bedside tables. You can store your luggage in the walk-in wardrobe in this bedroom.
4) An elegant bathroom with shower, (at ground level and barrier-free), WC and access to your sauna.
5) Separate storage room with side entrance door for your bicycles. The 65 l freezer is also located here. Optionally, a man's bicycle is available here, e.g. to quickly fetch bread rolls in the morning. 20 Euro usage fee per week. Adjacent in the heating room you will find the combined washer-dryer, clothes horse, ironing board and iron.
We also offer an optional wallbox (11 KW) for charging your electric or hybrid car. Electricity is charged according to the kilowatts used and is not included in the rental price. Please ask for the current electricity price before arrival.
6) A guest toilet is located next to the entrance door.
All rooms are accessible from the central hallway. Each window and 3 patio doors are fitted with fly screens, electric shutters and pleated blinds. Thus, the small pests should stay outside.

Our newly built Scandinavian-style holiday home is located in the immediate vicinity of the North Sea dyke (5 minutes by car).
The UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea is practically on your doorstep. Discover the typical bird life with binoculars and a camera. The beaches in Cappel-Neufeld and Spieka-Neufeld are characterised by wide green beaches in front of the dikes of the Wurster North Sea coast, the sea and, at low tide, the almost endless mudflats.
A constant companion is the wind - sometimes gentle and soothing during the summer, sometimes stormy in autumn/winter. But the iodine-rich air will do you good all year round, and many holidaymakers come to the North Sea coast for that reason alone. In other words, a landscape that lets you breathe deeply. Discover the surroundings by bike or on long walks. Those seeking rest and relaxation will get their money's worth here. Experience the mudflats on a hike to Neuwerk Island on foot or by tidal flat car from Sahlenburg or Duhnen. High-sea lovers book a day trip by seaside ship or fast catamaran to Helgoland - Germany's only high-sea island about 60 km off the coast.
Cuxhaven with its sandy beaches (Sahlenburg / Duhnen or Döse) can be reached by bike or in about 15 minutes by car. In bad weather, the Havenwelten in Bremerhaven with the unique Emigration House, the Climate House, the Maritime Museum and other attractions around the harbour and seafaring attract visitors.
Important information:
The KompassRose is located in a general residential area / new construction area. You must expect construction activities on weekdays between 7:30 am and 6 pm. These activities are priced into the reduced rental price and therefore do not entitle you to make a complaint.
A plot in the immediate vicinity is still completely undeveloped. It is not yet clear when this will start.

Relaxation holiday
We were here again.
We had another great and relaxing holiday here. The holiday home leaves nothing to be desired, whether it's a fireplace, sauna, wellness shower, or comfortable beds. Everything is available.
Excursions to Dorum, Cuxhaven, Bremerhaven are all easily and quickly accessible.
The shopping facilities and restaurants in the village are very close by.
You can go for nice walks and the neighborhood is also very pleasant.
We will come back.

Perfect short break
We were looking for a house with a sauna in a quiet location for a spontaneous short vacation. We found a very well-kept fully equipped vacation home on the beautiful North Sea coast that met all our wishes and would have provided even more possibilities that we unfortunately couldn't make use of due to the shortness of the vacation.

Restful vacation
We had a few beautiful, relaxing days here. The vacation home leaves nothing to be desired. The equipment is modern and complete and the furnishings / decorations are top notch. The surroundings are very quiet. We were able to relax very well in our own sauna. It is recommended to bring additional sauna towels.
Shopping opportunities like Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Rossmann, and 2 banks can be reached by car in 5 minutes.
You can go for a walk very nicely.
The contact with the landlord is very good and very friendly when needed.
We would love to come back.

If North Sea vacation, then here.
We wanted to travel to the North Sea and have a vacation at our own pace.
If you want to have such a quiet and independent vacation yourself and are looking for a pleasant, clean, and quiet base for exploring the North Sea, you should definitely book the KompassRose.
About the house itself:
The living kitchen is modern, spacious, and very bright. You simply feel comfortable. In the evenings, you can cozy up on the sofa or armchair and read or watch TV, depending on your preference. Or you can play board games together at the large dining table.
If you cook for yourself, everything is taken care of - from pots and pans to dishes and even Tupperware for on the go. All the appliances work great.
The bedroom (we only used one of the two) is very practical. The larger one has a walk-in closet, so you don't trip over suitcases but can comfortably move everything out of the way. The bed is big and comfortable.
The bathroom has a large shower with a rain shower. You can also relax in the sauna after a long day - which is great.
If you want, you can also book two bicycles and a charging box for the electric car. The bright, spacious accommodation really lacks nothing.
About the region:
Although Nordholz is not directly on the North Sea beach, it takes about 1 1/2 hours on foot with a stroller to reach the beach (if you are willing to make the trip). Otherwise, it takes between 15 and 20 minutes by car, depending on the beach. Everything is quickly accessible. It also takes about half an hour to reach Bremerhaven.
About the hosts:
Communication with Mr. Hashagen was always uncomplicated and fast. If you had any questions or problems, you were helped immediately.
If we want to go to the North Sea again, we would definitely choose KompassRose again.

A holiday home to feel comfortable
We were at the North Sea for the first time and found a very nice and modern holiday home. We didn't miss anything. The proximity to the coast, trips to Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven is ideal. A day trip to Heligoland from Cuxhaven is highly recommended. With the high-speed catamaran "Halunder Jet" you can reach Heligoland in the fastest way. In short, the holiday at the North Sea did us both good and we will definitely be back soon. We can also recommend 'Kompass Rose' with a clear conscience!

Super equipped holiday home for 4 people. The house is new, modern, comfortable, and energy-efficient. You immediately feel at home.
Very quiet location in a new residential area. It takes 10 minutes by car to reach Spieker beach and 15-20 minutes to reach all the sandy beaches towards Cuxhaven.
There are very good shopping facilities in the village, also until 10 pm.
Several restaurants nearby (by car or bike).
Recommendations: Mudflat hiking in Spieker Neufeld, Cuxhaven, the Bad Watt'n Meer, Bremerhaven Harbor Worlds.
We are very relaxed and highly recommend the 'Kompass Rose' 100%!

Super beautiful accommodation, optimal starting point for bike tours.
This wooden house with its Danish style appealed to us very much. The furnishings and equipment leave nothing to be desired. Everything is spacious and on one level and optimally equipped (2 terraces, 2 parking spaces at the house). Great for 4 people. The proximity to the coast, Bremerhaven, and Cuxhaven is perfect for cycling tours and tourist attractions. Nice and uncomplicated landlords, we will definitely come back. Spaciously and environmentally friendly equipped holiday home. Very spacious, tastefully and maritime furnished.
Technically up to date, heat pump heating and wallbox for electric cars.
Good starting point for excursions. Only a few kilometres to Cuxhaven, or Bremerhaven with the harbour worlds. Aviation museum in the village. Beautiful heath landscape nearby invites you to go hiking.
We would gladly rent this house again.
