We were there with seven people and had a great time. The sauna and hot tub were regularly in use. New Year's Eve in Großenbrode is a dream, with the stage set up and mulled wine stands right by the promenade. The town also has many playgrounds, cute cafés, plenty of activities for children, and beautiful walking paths. The campsite also has a sports hall for playing badminton, for example! There are also many beautiful places nearby, e.g. Fehmarn, Plön, Kiel, Lübeck, or Hamburg. You can also take a day trip by ferry to Denmark. There is a supermarket and a bakery, and gas stations nearby. We didn't need anything more. It's definitely worth it, we were able to relax well and we will surely come back! We lacked for nothing.

The houses heat up extremely quickly; definitely bring cooling from home. Check the inventory and damages immediately upon arrival; if necessary, complain promptly.
