We enjoyed our holiday. A must for rest seekers and nature lovers. Nearby scenic cycling tours along the Canal de Nivernais. Auxerre and Vezelay are definitely worth a visit. The cottage was very complete, but rather we lay on the lovely sunbeds in the garden.

On arrival we were all met outside on the road, because the entrance was somewhat blocked. The cottage itself, as the area was even more beautiful than the picture 's suggested. Everything was to note that the cottage recently new (Dutch) had owners. There was a new flat screen, via satellite, all Dutch channels. Unfortunately faltered satelietbox occasionally. Then put the picture and there was no movement to get more in. the solution was simple. Just connect the power supply unplugging the box and after ten seconds. Then the box was turned on again be worked and everything is back to behoren.De environment, in our opinion, brilliant. croplands and forests alternate. you drive it on roads where you occasionally meet someone and regularly check your beautiful houses and chateaus against those not listed on the Michelin map. great discoveries are to make it to the Morvan and places like Vézelai and Autun with its magnificent Roman ruins. For shopping you can go out the best Prémery. it is slightly further away, but cheap fuel and a very super wide making, along with the scenic route, more than worth it.

We had a very nice holiday and Assars / Vitry Laché. The house was lovely. Quiet, detached, with a nice large garden. The house was spacious, complete with regard to the establishment, attractive and of good quality. Excellent! The setting was beautiful. The only downside are the facilities which are situated quite a distance. We enjoyed the house and the area.

Well received by French lady. Everything perfectly explained. She took time for it. Accommodation was clean. Spacious, sheltered private garden, with cows and sunset views. Great starry sky. Great for cycling. Nice quiet in the area.

Nice, quiet cottage. My compliments to the Dutch owners, they have made a very cozy house that was equipped with all comforts. There is clearly a lot of love and attention. The house is quietly situated between a few other houses. Ride a long way to visit something, but the landscape was so beautiful that it made the trip alone good.

In the existing reviews it had already been noted that the sitting room was small, but we did not expect to be that small. That while there are three reasonably spacious bedrooms. Why not involve a bedroom in the living room? The couch and chairs seemed comfortable, but as seniors it was almost impossible for us to get out again, so chairs but stored in a bedroom and our own folding chairs used that we always take them. . The sun is barely coming in. We were also surprised by some vermin. Upon arrival we were welcomed by a tube of approx. 30 cm in the living room, although a little one, but still thrown out with the open-fire-tongs. We also met with some regularity pissebedden, as well as some 6cm long fairly thick centipedes. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped the shower we found less comfortable. Outside sit under the separate covered seat, was not pleasant, even in full sun in particular came this by the wind and admitted the season. The region is very beautiful in terms of landscape, but the villages we often found a large gribus. Sometimes villages were indicated with a medieval character, but it turned out that since then there was usually no maintenance. It looked like Eastern Europe in the old days. Also very dissatisfied with the opening hours of restaurants nothing for our holiday experience, but "s-lands wise," s-lands honor. We all went home 4 days earlier.

You arrive in a small hamlet with a few houses. The rest is as you meet. The property is an old house but all the basic comfort is present. The thick walls keep it cool during a hot summer. This could be detrimental in the cold period for heating is electric or houtkachel.Een cozy covered outdoor table makes it attractive from breakfast to supper. The garden is spacious for the kids to let their courses. And the outdoor shower is refreshing after a hot dag.De count area is beautiful and you have already a 30 to 60 minutes to go and see something or swim in one of the beautiful lakes.

Unfortunately, a fresh start in a beautiful house with thick walls. The hot firing took us four days which was evident in the final settlement of the electricity. This should not spoil the fun, after all you are on vacation. A cozy cottage in the middle of an agricultural area. Peace and nature are the keywords. The cottage is well maintained and equipped. Because of the weather we have in house spent a lot more time than hoped. For 6 people the cottage in which case some on the tight side. With six people eat in the kitchen, or six sitting in the living room is really tight. Three large bedrooms make it suitable for six people, but also with a view to showering and toilet use is actually four people max. In the summer, however, I can imagine very well no problems with this. Finally, are you as it is good for the whole day outside. We had a wonderful holiday! We lacked nothing. Everything was there and supervision on site was fine. Internet did well, there was installed a new TV with access to many channels including UK. Music, movies, books, games, you name it, it was there. Wijwaren the first gaste

If you seek peace, you must go to this property. There are only a few houses in the immediate area and the garden borders a meadow. Nice accommodations and all amenities.

Everything in this house is practical. In the garden, we had sun all day, delightful! The distances to go swimming and grocery shopping have to be covered by car, but that doesn't spoil the fun.

The arrival was not good. We have to look pretty to the house. It would have been better if they had used as the hamlet Assarts place. The house and garden were fine. One can there especially enjoy the tranquility. In the area you can walk, but the trails are not maintained properly. The baker was 12 km away. The messages 20 km. from the cottage.
Piet-Jan op de Hoek
The reception was warm and professional. The house is in excellent condition. Everything did and the house was definitely completely furnished. However, the house is less suitable for six people. Four is the maximum. Only at summer temperatures, if you are actually outside all the time and the house is only used to sleep, it is suitable for six people. In colder periods the house is not really hot to boil. The surroundings are beautiful although there is nothing to do in the immediate vicinity. So always get in the car to see what to see. Then there is a lot within range. Beautiful towns and scenery. Shops in Premery and Corbigny. Nice market in Corbigny on Friday morning. In the house there is enough documentation for an orientation on the surroundings. Cities like Clamecy, Vezelay and Avallon are recommended, as well as the Canal du Nivernais with its many locks. And of course the Vauban castle in Bazoches. Well, from the feathers, for around lunch time to an hour or half past four, everybody is eating, almost everything is closed and the towns are extinct. Nevers as a big city in the vicinity certainly did not resist despite the fact that it would have been very bad in WW II during bombing. It is now pleasant walking and shopping.

We have been neatly received. It was difficult to communicate because the lady spoke only French. The cottage was clean, the kitchen was well equipped with appliances and cooking utensils. The cottage is fine for 4 people, but would cause a problem for more people. What matters in the assessment are the beds. Those are pretty bad. It has spoiled much of my holiday pleasure.

The cottage is authentic and fully equipped and parking on site at the front door with 1 or 2 cars. You can store your own Chromecast in HDMI 3. WiFi is hassle free and fast enough for Netflix and NPO and stuff. DVD player with stock DVDs (Dutch subtitles) present, but you do have to arrange batteries for the remote control DVD player yourself (DVD player buttons can often also be used, but then you do not have all options). For walking routes in the vicinity, it is best to install the Topo GPS app and search for PR routes drawn on the topo map. i.a. from church St-Révérien nice PR tour along a Roman village, route with yellow markings and large parking lot at church. Also from the parking church Sainte-Marie (near Saint-Martin) a nice PR randonnee, also with yellow markings (2 to 4 hours walk), so with breaks and sights you can make a nice day filling of it. A PR walking route is also available at Corbigny and a large Aldi, so handy to combine (18 km by car). House is heat resistant thanks to the thick walls, so sufficient protection in case of heat wave (better than air conditioning). From the large garden a view of a field with white Charolais cattle and the occasional hare and behind that woods in which the hiking trails are less maintained, so it's best to take the PR hiking trails. They lead past old and beautiful sights and avoid private forests and overgrown paths.

Nice house, in principle fully equipped, but here and there a bit dated. A lot of sitting outside under the pergola with fan, was wonderful given the warm temperatures of that moment. Sights are all at least half an hour by car, except for a swimming lake, which is 15 minutes away. Starry sky in the evening and at night is overwhelming. Even the Milky Way can be seen with the naked eye. Very good value for money. Only tip: also make shutters at the right rear bedroom. woke up very early now due to lack of shutters and curtains.
