A few years ago, the lady of the house converted the old country estate, a heritage of her family, into a noble holiday domicile. The detached residence in the style of a masseria was restored with great sensitivity and equipped with contemporary comforts. It retains its historic charm and radiates grandeur. At the same time, the domicile and the entire estate immediately feel like a cosy retreat. Nature as inspiration and the lightness of summer in combination with a dreamlike domicile are the epitome of holiday. A holiday domicile for connoisseurs.
The 15 x 6 m private pool (in operation from approx. 1.5. - 30.9.) with sun terrace promises pure relaxation. There are numerous outdoor seats on the property. Depending on the time of day, you can enjoy the evening sun at the various spots. Every guest is sure to find his or her favourite spot for a leisurely hour or a dreamy siesta. The shady arbour offers plenty of space and is the popular and ideal meeting place for a social get-together with family and good friends. The barbecue grill at the end of the pergola is ideal for warm summer evenings. And when it already smells deliciously of grilled fish, all the guests are sure to gather quickly around the dining table for dinner!
With its bright colours, the villa stands out from the green olive groves and the red earth. A centuries-old little angel in the outer wall bears witness to the history and signifies a kind of good luck charm for the lady of the house.
The villa is framed by lush oleanders, citrus trees, towering prickly pears, shimmering silvery-green olive groves and wild Mediterranean herbs, the so-called Macchia mediterranea.
Traditional lifestyle, homely atmosphere and southern flair go hand in hand here. Villa Mediterranea not only enjoys an extensive outdoor area; the living space is also very generously designed, so that 8 - 12 people can be comfortably accommodated here. The villa has 4 bedrooms or living areas, all with separate entrances from the terrace; 3 of the 4 areas each have an additional living room, which has a sofa bed and its own minibar. There is also a modern, very tasteful bathroom (with shower and bidet) in each area, as well as a small, private terrace at the rear overlooking the olive trees. A separately accessible, completely new eat-in kitchen awaits creative cooks. All guests can be seated at the large table with a view of the greenery. In fine weather, the dining area on the large communal terrace is very popular, when Apulian specialities are served for hours of enjoyment. In the evening hours, the property looks particularly magical with its multitude of light spots. Savoir-vivre is written large here.
