The best part about this cottage is its ideal location! The beach is a stone's throw away. It is quiet. And the surrounding dunes & vegetation are gorgeous! The cottage itself is adequate. It has all you need to be comfortable. The beds are fine. It has seen better days though, and does not look as appealing as it does in the photos! We were disappointed by that initially, until we settled in & realized the bigger picture, which is: the west coast of DK and that particular spot is amazing! Recommendations: Blokhus, the paper cutting museum, Isager strik (for knitters), the Disappearing Lighthouse, Skagen, Lille Vildmose, Aalborg, the street food market & Latin Quarter in Aarhus, long walks on the beach!

The house has a unique location and is virtually only a dune away from the beach. It is very well equipped, with everything you need. However, the house is somewhat aging, and small flaws could be addressed. Recommendations: We can recommend many excursions: hikes in Lille Norge and Mariager Fjord, Frederikshavn and Aalborg, Skagen with Grenen and the moving dunes Rabjerg Mike as well as Rubjerg Knude.
