The best part about this cottage is its ideal location! The beach is a stone's throw away. It is quiet. And the surrounding dunes & vegetation are gorgeous! The cottage itself is adequate. It has all you need to be comfortable. The beds are fine. It has seen better days though, and does not look as appealing as it does in the photos! We were disappointed by that initially, until we settled in & realized the bigger picture, which is: the west coast of DK and that particular spot is amazing! Recommendations: Blokhus, the paper cutting museum, Isager strik (for knitters), the Disappearing Lighthouse, Skagen, Lille Vildmose, Aalborg, the street food market & Latin Quarter in Aarhus, long walks on the beach!

Beautiful location, however strongly in need of renovation inside and out, one should not have high expectations but we felt very comfortable with our two dogs, although we also had two weeks of only nice weather, could spend the time outside.
