AlpenAmbiente is a spacious, newly renovated alpine apartment for up to 8 guests, ideally located near Partenkirchen’s pedestrian zone with easy access to restaurants, shops, and the mountains.
Designed in a modern alpine style with high-end designer furnishings throughout, the apartment features a bright, open-plan living and dining area with a fully equipped, high-quality kitchen with a Nespresso cappuccino machine—ideal for relaxed evenings or entertaining, including raclette and fondue sets for classic alpine dining. Large windows throughout the living area, kitchen, and multiple bedrooms reveal beautiful mountain views.
The apartment offers three well-appointed bedrooms with queen-size beds, including one with a bunk bed for kids, and 2.5 bathrooms, providing ample space and privacy for families or groups.
A standout feature is the expansive 50 square meter terrace, thoughtfully furnished for outdoor dining and lounging, with open views of the surrounding peaks—perfect for morning coffee or evenings outdoors.
For added comfort, guests can unwind in the spacious private sauna, while a private ski room offers storage for skis and bikes, including e-bike charging. Pet-friendly (fees apply).

Welcome to one of the most ideally located areas in Partenkirchen—where alpine nature and everyday convenience come together seamlessly.
Situated on Mittenwalderstraße, the apartment is within a short walk (approx. 5–8 minutes) of Ludwigstraße, where you’ll find a variety of restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and local shops.
At the same time, the apartment offers immediate access to the outdoors. Hiking trails on Wank Mountain begin essentially at your doorstep, while the Eckbauerbahn (approx. 10-minute walk) provides easy access to scenic alpine hikes. The Partnach Gorge can also be reached on foot.
Supermarkets and daily essentials are within walking distance, adding to the convenience of the location. Despite this, the neighborhood maintains a quiet, residential feel—ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring.

We had an amazing experience staying at AlpenAmbiente. It is centrally located to everything in the area, including many restaurants that you can walk to. We explored the area easily and really enjoyed the region.

AlpenAmbiente was a perfect place for us to stay to explore the area. It is conveniently located to so many beautiful areas to explore. To the center of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is an easy walk and looks like it is out of a story book. The surrounding region offers castles, alpine villages, lakes, and stunning hiking opportunities. The home is beautifully maintained, modern, and very comfortable. I would definitely return.

Fantastic apartment in a great location! We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the apartment. The location was great, within walking distance of restaurants and shops in the old part of town, with excellent transport connections. We enjoyed exploring the area and would happily return.
