Very nice holiday apartment in a good and central location. Booking, apartment handover, and especially the cleanliness of the apartment were TOP! The bathroom including sauna is a dream. Only the beds could be a bit more comfortable and there could be a bit more dishes available. Overall, the apartment is highly recommended. We would love to come back.

We were in the old town villa for the third time - we liked it super again! Very clean and well equipped with the sauna in the bathroom! Perfect location and contact with the landlord was also smooth and everything very well organized! There were three of us in an apartment for people and we could have used a bit more dishes.. the beds could be a bit more comfortable but all in all really super and highly recommended! We will definitely come back! Thank you!!!

We two "pretty ones" missed nothing. The central location to the bakery, grocery store, restaurants, and train station was important to us. The (walking) distance to the promenade is a bit longer... but that was part of our daily routine.

We were in Borkum over Easter 2024. The apartment "Memmert" is excellently located, and important things are quickly reachable on foot in just a few minutes. Due to the apartment's location at the back, it is very quiet. The apartment is perfectly laid out for a family of 4. Sauna enthusiasts will love the integrated "huge" sauna for an apartment of this size in the bathroom. Although the amenities are generally good, there is still some potential for improvement. The dishes are just barely enough for 4 people for "only breakfast," so the dishwasher has to run more often than would be necessary with a little more dishware. The dining table could also be a bit larger. But this is all "complaining" at a high level. If Borkum, then definitely this apartment again.

The apartment is great. Starting with the very nice contactless phone "key handover" to the excellent amenities. The sauna is unfortunately a highlight, especially in such bad weather. A shelf (bench or similar) would be useful in the bathroom; otherwise, nothing was missing.

We have spent our vacation in the Altstadtvilla in Borkum for the third time. For the first time, we stayed in the Memmert apartment. The apartment is very cozy and modernly furnished, clean, and the amenities leave nothing to be desired. Mr. Neteler was very accommodating when we had to stay one more night in Borkum spontaneously because our ferry was canceled due to a storm. The only thing that is not quite optimal about the vacation apartment is that it is right next to the laundry room. In the children's room, you can hear the running washing machines and dryers quite loudly. However, that hasn’t changed the fact that we felt very comfortable as always and will surely come back.

The location of the apartment is perfect, as it is in the heart of the city but does not experience the hustle and bustle due to its quiet side. The furnishings are very high-quality, and we lacked nothing! The highlight, in particular, is the generous bathroom with the integrated sauna :) The bathroom can be accessed through two doors, separately from both the first and the second bedroom, making it ideal for families or two couples. There is also a separate (lockable) storage room for luggage, great! There is also a laundry room with washing machines available, everything is top-notch! The landlord is very well organized during the booking process and impresses with his very short response times to inquiries! Absolutely friendly and accommodating contact :)) Furthermore, there is a service in the area that is always reachable for quick information. It would be nice if there were a small description sheet for the apartment with info about the Wi-Fi password and instructions for operating the sauna control. We as a family enjoyed an absolutely relaxed autumn week in a well-equipped vacation apartment! A Borkum holiday as one could only wish for :)) A big thank you to the landlord Thomas Neteler, we will gladly come back!

We have been guests in this beautiful house several times. It was, as always, a wonderful time in a home away from home. The apartment is equipped with everything one could wish for. Everything is within easy reach, and the location is simply top-notch! Central but quiet. Thus, a relaxing vacation is possible. Dear Mr. Neteler, we were in your truly wonderful and very well-equipped apartment for the first time. Everything was perfect and we felt very comfortable. The only issue was that my back could not handle the somewhat hard mattress. This resulted in slight back pain. It could have been a bit softer for me. One more small thing: a second doormat at the entrance of the terrace would be good, as we used this entrance quite often. On the day of arrival, it rained, so we had to make the nice clean ground a bit wet. Just a note. Otherwise, we can recommend the apartment 100%. Best regards, Michael Kösters

The apartment is very well located. All the shops you need are reachable in a short time. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need to take care of yourself. The built-in sauna is a special highlight. The only drawback is that disabled people find it difficult to enter the apartment and have very little space to maneuver with walking aids in the sleeping areas. Otherwise, I can highly recommend the accommodation.

We were on Borkum for the first time in mid-February 2019 and felt very comfortable in the vacation apartment after extensive beach walks, which was also enhanced by the use of the sauna. From our perspective, the vacation apartment is very conveniently located; you can quickly get to the water, and in the morning, the baker is just 150 meters away. We can only recommend Borkum at this time of year and in this vacation apartment.

The four stars for amenities refer to the slow Wi-Fi in the apartments, as my download over LTE is faster here. Also, some apps do not work because the internet connection is too slow! The four stars for processing-service-organization relate to the coding of the cards, as the storage room could not be opened with it, and there is no indication of the key for the storage room in the fuse box.

We were accommodated in a "Neteler apartment" for the second time this year and it was great again. The "Memmert" apartment with two bedrooms is actually too big for the two of us, but everything else was booked and we really wanted to stay there again. The apartment is very nice and fully furnished, the colors are coordinated, which matches our taste perfectly. The bathroom with its sauna is a dream.
