Holiday flat family holiday Borkum

It was such a beautiful vacation. The weather was great and we really liked Borkum. We can only recommend a vacation in the Altstadt Villa.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Everything was great. The only thing that was a bit bothersome was the faucets in the bathroom; the sensors sometimes didn't work, and you couldn't adjust it to either hot or cold. Otherwise, everything was perfectly fine. Best regards, Anne Krieg

In the kitchen, cooking utensils are missing. A stool for children is missing in the bathroom, as the sinks are quite high.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We felt very comfortable. The apartment is clean and modernly furnished. The location is perfect. Also, the possibility of storing bicycles in our own storage room is a big plus. A separate room with 2 washing machines and a dryer is provided free of charge; perfect. The support and management of the booking through the app was very pleasant. If we are on Borkum again soon, we will definitely book this apartment or another apartment from the landlord. Highly recommended without restrictions.

The location is fantastic. The accommodation is well-maintained and has a good layout of the rooms.

As always, everything wonderful, possibly a stool for the upper cabinets! Best regards, Annegritt Michler

Very nice holiday apartment in a good and central location. Booking, apartment handover, and especially the cleanliness of the apartment were TOP! The bathroom including sauna is a dream. Only the beds could be a bit more comfortable and there could be a bit more dishes available. Overall, the apartment is highly recommended. We would love to come back.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Super as always. Thank you.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

As always, everything was in perfect order.

We were in the old town villa for the third time - we liked it super again! Very clean and well equipped with the sauna in the bathroom! Perfect location and contact with the landlord was also smooth and everything very well organized! There were three of us in an apartment for people and we could have used a bit more dishes.. the beds could be a bit more comfortable but all in all really super and highly recommended! We will definitely come back! Thank you!!!

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Automatic faucets in the bathroom are impractical and not suitable for children.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We have been coming here for years and are always very satisfied with everything. Thank you to the whole team!

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Even the neighbors were nice. We would book again immediately, we would.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, we had a very pleasant and comfortable vacation in Borkum and in your apartment. Very cool ambiance and very well equipped, the cozy little terrace corner is also very nice. Should we vacation on the island of Borkum again, we will return with fond memories to make a booking. Best regards from Spessart

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Everything is great, we will come back gladly!

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Clean apartment. Everything functionally in order. We felt very comfortable. We will come back. This was our fourth time in their house. Thank you very much.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We two "pretty ones" missed nothing. The central location to the bakery, grocery store, restaurants, and train station was important to us. The (walking) distance to the promenade is a bit longer... but that was part of our daily routine.

4,8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8

We were in Borkum over Easter 2024. The apartment "Memmert" is excellently located, and important things are quickly reachable on foot in just a few minutes. Due to the apartment's location at the back, it is very quiet. The apartment is perfectly laid out for a family of 4. Sauna enthusiasts will love the integrated "huge" sauna for an apartment of this size in the bathroom. Although the amenities are generally good, there is still some potential for improvement. The dishes are just barely enough for 4 people for "only breakfast," so the dishwasher has to run more often than would be necessary with a little more dishware. The dining table could also be a bit larger. But this is all "complaining" at a high level. If Borkum, then definitely this apartment again.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Very beautiful modern holiday apartment that is cozy even in autumn with bad weather. In cold and rain, the sauna is a dream. We would love to come back.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful vacation apartment, which is modernly furnished and very well equipped. Due to the central yet quiet location, one can explore the island perfectly.

4,8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8

We were very pleasantly surprised by the great apartment in Borkum. This time we were three people; if the apartment were a bit cheaper, we would certainly choose it again for just the two of us. Simply fantastic in every respect. The arrangement in advance also went smoothly, everything very professional. Thank you very much for the wonderful week.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

It is a very tastefully furnished and well-equipped apartment. It is centrally located but quiet. Shopping facilities are reachable within a 5-minute walk.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Great holiday apartment with sauna and nice bathroom. Bicycles can be stored and charged safely. The location is excellent.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We had a great time in Borkum and would definitely book this apartment again. Everything you could wish for in a holiday apartment is there. A special highlight is the sauna!

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

For the second time in the AltstadtVilla and again completely satisfied. You enter the apartment and feel at home. Furnished with great attention to detail, very clean, and in a perfect location. I lacked nothing and have absolutely no complaints. The next stay is already in planning.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Everything wonderful, we felt very comfortable and will come back, hopefully in the winter months!

Very nice vacation, very nice apartment, very good condition, great bathroom + sauna.

4,8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8

Tastefully, modernly furnished apartment. Very clean. We would definitely come back. Only a few more drying options for towels, etc. would be nice.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

Super beautiful and clean apartment in the best location.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

As always, we were thrilled; it was not our first visit to the old town Villa. The furnishings and cleanliness of the apartment, as well as the central location, have always been important to us. The apartment is also very suitable for longer stays. Baker, butcher, supermarket, several restaurants, and a bike rental are in close proximity. Clear recommendation! Regards, the Poel family.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Super nice apartment. We felt at home. Next stay already booked.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We have now been in this apartment for the third time with our three-person family and were, as always, very satisfied. Very central location, a lovely little wellness oasis in the bathroom, and always very friendly contact with the landlord. We will happily come back in the future.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Everything was - as already experienced - perfect.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Very nice apartment with a great sauna as a special highlight. We felt very comfortable and will come back in 2022!

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

The apartment is great. Starting with the very nice contactless phone "key handover" to the excellent amenities. The sauna is unfortunately a highlight, especially in such bad weather. A shelf (bench or similar) would be useful in the bathroom; otherwise, nothing was missing.

4,8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8

We had a great vacation here and would love to come back! Thank you.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The apartment was very nicely furnished and super quiet, which offered a relaxing vacation. However, the mattresses were a disaster. Way too hard and uncomfortable. Therefore, one point deduction, but the rest was perfect.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We booked with Mr. Neteler for the first time and had a great vacation in the Memmert vacation apartment. The apartment is very modern and stylishly furnished and is equipped with everything you need. We were really excited. The size was also perfect for two adults and two children. We would love to come back!

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Great apartment, would love to come back again!

4,0 4 4 4 4 4

Very nice apartment, tastefully and generously equipped. The handling of spa cards and keys (card) was very relaxed. Thank you very much, we felt very comfortable and had a great week in Borkum with lots of sun in a perfect accommodation. We would book with Neteler again anytime.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Everything is great, we would love to come back!

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We have spent our vacation in the Altstadtvilla in Borkum for the third time. For the first time, we stayed in the Memmert apartment. The apartment is very cozy and modernly furnished, clean, and the amenities leave nothing to be desired. Mr. Neteler was very accommodating when we had to stay one more night in Borkum spontaneously because our ferry was canceled due to a storm. The only thing that is not quite optimal about the vacation apartment is that it is right next to the laundry room. In the children's room, you can hear the running washing machines and dryers quite loudly. However, that hasn’t changed the fact that we felt very comfortable as always and will surely come back.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We liked the apartment very much. If it fits with our holiday schedule and the apartment is available, we would be happy to come back.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

For us, an ideal location, as it is right in the middle. Shopping and restaurants easily accessible. Positive aspect is the separate storage room in the courtyard for bicycles or for our eMobility.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

As always, everything is great, thank you!

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

The location of the apartment is perfect, as it is in the heart of the city but does not experience the hustle and bustle due to its quiet side. The furnishings are very high-quality, and we lacked nothing! The highlight, in particular, is the generous bathroom with the integrated sauna :) The bathroom can be accessed through two doors, separately from both the first and the second bedroom, making it ideal for families or two couples. There is also a separate (lockable) storage room for luggage, great! There is also a laundry room with washing machines available, everything is top-notch! The landlord is very well organized during the booking process and impresses with his very short response times to inquiries! Absolutely friendly and accommodating contact :)) Furthermore, there is a service in the area that is always reachable for quick information. It would be nice if there were a small description sheet for the apartment with info about the Wi-Fi password and instructions for operating the sauna control. We as a family enjoyed an absolutely relaxed autumn week in a well-equipped vacation apartment! A Borkum holiday as one could only wish for :)) A big thank you to the landlord Thomas Neteler, we will gladly come back!

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

As always, everything was perfect; we are happy regular guests. And this year, we were completely satisfied as well. Everything clean, bright, friendly, beautiful. We are already looking forward to the sauna and the beach chair next year.

4,8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8

We have been guests in this beautiful house several times. It was, as always, a wonderful time in a home away from home. The apartment is equipped with everything one could wish for. Everything is within easy reach, and the location is simply top-notch! Central but quiet. Thus, a relaxing vacation is possible. As landlords, we can only highly recommend Mr. Neteler and the entire team that also takes care of the house maintenance. We will definitely come back!

4,3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3 4.3

We will happily come back.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Dear Mr. Neteler, we were in your truly wonderful and very well-equipped apartment for the first time. Everything was perfect and we felt very comfortable. The only issue was that my back could not handle the somewhat hard mattress. This resulted in slight back pain. It could have been a bit softer for me. One more small thing: a second doormat at the entrance of the terrace would be good, as we used this entrance quite often. On the day of arrival, it rained, so we had to make the nice clean ground a bit wet. Just a note. Otherwise, we can recommend the apartment 100%. Best regards, Michael Kösters

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Very nice apartment, we would love to come back.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We really liked it. We will definitely come back to that.

4,8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8

We felt very comfortable. Will come back in September.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

The apartment is very well located. All the shops you need are reachable in a short time. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need to take care of yourself. The built-in sauna is a special highlight. The only drawback is that disabled people find it difficult to enter the apartment and have very little space to maneuver with walking aids in the sleeping areas. Otherwise, I can highly recommend the accommodation.

4,8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8

Hello everyone, we felt very comfortable and it leaves nothing to be desired. However, we just wanted to give a tip, and it should not be seen as criticism. We missed a few small things, like a bread basket and placemats. And for the bathroom, a squeegee would have been nice. After two steam sessions, the bathroom unfortunately became very wet. We would always love to come back. Everything was great, and hopefully see you soon. The Brandt family

We were on Borkum for the first time in mid-February 2019 and felt very comfortable in the vacation apartment after extensive beach walks, which was also enhanced by the use of the sauna. From our perspective, the vacation apartment is very conveniently located; you can quickly get to the water, and in the morning, the baker is just 150 meters away. We can only recommend Borkum at this time of year and in this vacation apartment.

4,7 4.7 4.7 4.7 4.7 4.7

The apartment is beautifully and stylishly furnished. The bathroom is very nice, the sauna a highlight. We were not completely satisfied with the cleanliness of the apartment. Many areas were only superficially cleaned. In the corners and on many surfaces, it was still very dusty. But the service was there immediately. A small drying rack in the apartment/terrace would be great. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Good day Mr. Neteler,

After we have been with you several times now, we have again noticed the great organization. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness this time. Therefore, a compliment to the current cleaning service. The only thing - the Memmert apartment is in need of sharp kitchen knives. We are already looking forward to the next stay.

4,8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8

We have been to Borkum several times, both in vacation apartments and in various hotels. We felt comfortable in this apartment from the very beginning. It is wonderfully equipped, everything is available, in excellent condition, and the bathroom is amazing. We would have simply enjoyed a rainy day in the apartment. We hope that next year we have a few days free and that we can relax in this apartment again. Best regards.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We were very satisfied and felt very comfortable. We particularly liked the sauna. The contact made us feel very comfortable. The bath and the sauna area were especially nice. We will definitely come back.

4,5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5 4.5

The four stars for amenities refer to the slow Wi-Fi in the apartments, as my download over LTE is faster here. Also, some apps do not work because the internet connection is too slow! The four stars for processing-service-organization relate to the coding of the cards, as the storage room could not be opened with it, and there is no indication of the key for the storage room in the fuse box.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

Hi, we can only recommend the vacation apartment. Super centrally located and with everything you need. We will definitely see each other again. Best regards, Family Looden

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

It was such a beautiful vacation. The weather was great, and we really liked Borkum. We can only recommend a vacation in the Altstadt Villa.

4,8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8

Our key card did not fit the shed Memmert. However, we did not use it. Everything else was great, thank you. We will come back.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We have now taken a vacation there for the third time and have been very satisfied again. Our next stay will definitely not be long in coming.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We felt very comfortable and can only say that the internet did not promise too much. We would very much like to come back next year.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

A great apartment, top-notch handling, 10 out of 10 points! We would love to come back.

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

We were accommodated in a "Neteler apartment" for the second time this year and it was great again. The "Memmert" apartment with two bedrooms is actually too big for the two of us, but everything else was booked and we really wanted to stay there again. The apartment is very nice and fully furnished, the colors are coordinated, which matches our taste perfectly. The bathroom with its sauna is a dream. The apartment is centrally located but quiet, and you can reach the town center or the beach in no time at all. We will definitely come back. Best regards, Dieter Meyer

5,0 5 5 5 5 5

It's a pity that there is no egg cooker in the apartment. We felt very comfortable. Until next time!

4,8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8 4.8

Super beautiful modern apartment, we really enjoyed and used the sauna multiple times. However, we missed some hanging options in the bathroom. We would book it again at any time.

4,7 4.7 4.7 4.7 4.7 4.7

The apartment is beautiful and stylishly furnished. The bathroom is very nice, the sauna is a highlight.
We were not completely satisfied with the cleanliness of the apartment. Many things were only superficially cleaned. There was still a lot of dust in the corners and on many surfaces. But the service was immediately available.
A small clothes rack in the apartment/terrace would be great. Otherwise everything is great!
