Allenbach is nestled between two mountain ranges of the Black Forest, close to the highest elevation in Rhineland-Palatinate - the 816 m high Erbeskopf.
The dream trail "Zwischen den Wäldern" (Between the Forests) and the nature trail "Idarbachtal" (Idar Valley) open up the immediate surroundings and show the beauty of our region. In this quiet, wooded area with its healthy low mountain climate, you will feel at home and enjoy unique views of the Idarbachtal valley. From the national park community of Allenbach, the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park with all its beauties is easy to reach and explore.
You should not miss the Allenbach pond, the castle, the historic mill and the smithy during a visit to Allenbach. You can get a first impression in our picture collection.

We, Birgit and Hans-Joachim, also live in Allenbach. With a lot of passion we have been running the "Ferienhaus zum Weiher" here for 6 years, also in this beautiful place. Our nature is simply breathtaking. Lots of forest and wonderful hiking trails. Pure relaxation. Just come and visit us.
