Description
You feel like you're in Bullerbü when you get out of the car and see the three red houses on the 6000sqm open plot. Boat shed with 2 canoes, life jackets, rowing boat, etc., campfire site, barbecue, volleyball court, swings and monster cave make you want to go on an adventure. The main house has a slightly nostalgic atmosphere due to the partly antique furniture. The kitchen was totally renovated in May 2022
There is Wi-Fi in the main house upstairs.
The outbuildings are more IKEA-furnished and practical, in the Starholk there is a triple room, a double room and a kitchen-living room. Families with friends, multi-generational holidaymakers or church groups will find space to retreat, to rest their spirit, soul and body.
The very small house (10 sqm plus pointed gable) offers its own terrace, lounge, 3 sleeping places and a toilet. It is built over the former earth cellar, which is now decorated as a monster cave with animal bone finds from the area for children's fun.
A large terrace invites you to have breakfast in the sun, in the evening you can sit on the small front terrace and watch the sunset, during the day there are plenty of places to put the existing garden loungers.

Location and surroundings of object
Our cottage area is very quietly situated between Halmstad and Ljungby, tranquilly in a forest and meadow landscape with a river meandering through it. One bathing and fishing spot is at the 'small' lake, approx. 350m away, another at the 'big' lake (approx. 800m away). There is also our rowing boat, which can be carried into the lake with fenders by strong adults.
Two other holiday houses are nearby, but are not permanently inhabited. In the yellow house 300m away lives a very nice and helpful Englishman.
Two lakes are within walking distance, the sea with the wonderful beach of Tylösand is only half an hour away by car. Larger lakes also beckon nearby, the Bolmen. Discover the slowness, find mushrooms, berries, flowers, moose! And enjoy the time under white clouds in the picture-book sky! Our estate is about 2.5 km from the centre of the village. Apart from a beautiful church, there is nothing worth seeing there. However, there is a wonderful hiking trail (Naturstig) around the village. The Skärseryd farm café with organic products is about 5 km away and is a great place to stop for a bite to eat
It is precisely the absence of attractions that makes for the recreation factor.
The nearest shop is in Lidhult, 12 km away. There you can get wonderful cakes or breakfast at a good price in the adjacent café, and free Wi-Fi on top of that. Large supermarkets and shopping centres are in Ljungby or Halmstad. Ljungby is a charming little town with a fairytale museum, and Halmstad is well worth a visit with its location on the Nissan, parks and a great market square. You should definitely eat an ice cream there! mmmhhh!

| In the high season we rent out the entire complex, in the low season also only one of the houses for fewer people. Electricity costs are read on a confidential basis. Free cancellation possible up to 49 days before the arrival date.
We accept free cancellation with reasons up to 7 weeks before the start of the trip. Until three weeks before the start of the vacation, half of the rent is due. After that, if no replacement tenant is found, the tenant must pay everything. We are open to negotiation, but we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

It is a farmhouse, about 200 years old, which we have renovated with great love. The room height in all rooms on the lower floor of the main house is about 2 metres, in the other houses 2.20 metres. The sanitary facilities are functional.
Smokers must smoke outside the house.

Family vacation in Sweden
A beautiful old farm, wonderfully located, the terrace and the garden furniture are new and comfortable. The lake (800m away) is an idyllic bathing spot where we were mostly alone. The road in front of the house is little trafficked and does not disturb. The downside is the very simple facilities of the sanitary installations and the partly insufficient cleanliness. However, if you accept that, you can have a really nice Swedish holiday there. Mrs. Berg was always approachable and friendly! This is indeed a special place!

Simply enchanting...
A charming property with typical Swedish houses... a "Bullerbü" just to our taste. We fell in love immediately and felt very comfortable!
The houses are simple but very lovingly furnished, and in the kitchen and on the property, everything you need is available. You can feel that this property is a labor of love.
The location is fantastic for spending a relaxed and quiet holiday. The two lakes are easily reachable on foot, and the forest invites you to search for moose and trolls.
We had a wonderful vacation with lots of fun, time to relax, canoeing, hiking, swimming, excursions, sunsets to dream about, campfires, and observing animals... Everything you need on vacation!
We thank Mrs. Berg very much for her hospitality and will definitely come back!

Wonderful
Spacious property with 3 typical Swedish houses, a main house with cozy living and sleeping areas, a large kitchen, all very individually furnished. A small single house, very cozy with a small bathroom, ideal for 1-3 people, a good retreat. A very nicely converted barn for 2 couples or a family. The entire property offers many possibilities for large families or special groups. We spent a wonderful week there dancing, singing, and hiking.

Fantastic for nature enthusiasts
This beautiful property is ideal for family or group trips!
It has everything the heart desires.
The lovingly furnished rooms are cozy. . . sometimes a deer appears on the property. . . or the cranes stand in the nearby fields.
A wonderful swimming lake invites you to swim within walking distance. . . swimming shoes are recommended.
The silence and the clear air. . . the greenery. . . make the stay a true relaxation. Those who want adventure and variety will definitely find it!!!

Break and pure nature
The main house is super cute. It's like a journey into history. And yet everything you need is there.
Even in the barn (we slept under the roof), everything we needed was there. It is simply and practically furnished. However, we only cooked as a group in the main house - it worked wonderfully for 10 people.
The main house, the terrace, the grounds, the neighboring village, and Midsummer - everything is a delight.
