Description

The living room is equipped with a wood-burning stove, a living area, and satellite TV/DVD. Free Wi-Fi is available. It is south-facing with a large window front leading to a terrace and overlooking the village pond. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a double bed and balcony. Additionally, there is a second bedroom with two single beds (one single bed with an additional pull-out bed), allowing for accommodation for up to 5 people. The open-plan kitchen with seating area offers all necessary amenities such as a refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and microwave, etc. There is a complete bathroom with shower and toilet on both the ground floor and upper floor. A children's travel cot and high chair are provided for the little guests. For sunny days, garden furniture, sun loungers, and a grill are available to you. A washing machine including dryer, beach wagon, 2 parking spaces, and bicycle parking complete the overall package. Hus an Diek is a non-smoking house and pets are not allowed. Let yourself be pampered every day; we offer you a bread delivery service throughout the year that you can book with us up to 4 days before arrival. We felt very comfortable in the accommodation Hus an Diek. Everything was available in terms of amenities, and a missing teapot was promptly provided. The proximity to the beach and the wonderful tranquility there are important factors for feeling good. Additionally, there are very good bike paths on the island of Poel, and one can experience the beautiful nature up close. A trip to the beautiful city of Wismar with its great brick Gothic architecture is also possible in a short distance. We would gladly return to this accommodation.

The cart (Ulfbo) regularly loses air in 2 tires. Fortunately, we had our air compressor with us and were able to manage. We spent 5-6 days and evenings first dealing with the many spiders that mostly came out of their hiding places in the evenings. Apparently also due to the fact that we regularly had the window open for ventilation in the ground floor bathroom. A fly screen would be useful here. Otherwise, it was a nice vacation and, as always, much too short. Stay healthy and see you next year!

Pleasant, well-maintained living environment. Individual, tasteful furnishings. The kitchen has practically everything you need. Not so nice: the kitchen is a bit cramped when fully occupied.

Overall, there isn't too much to complain about. Living room very nicely furnished with a modern comfortable sofa, kitchen fully equipped, everything you need is available. 2 nice bathrooms in the house, one on the ground floor and one upstairs by the bedrooms. Well, let's get to the bedrooms. Here it is not so well equipped. Beds quite old, and the wardrobes are more like boxes than wardrobes, that could be improved. Just a few words about the outdoor area: The terrace furniture is also quite worn out, and the garden could use a gardener. The paths and the terrace also need some maintenance. But still, we had 10 lovely days here, the weather cooperated, and Poel is a dreamlike island...

It would be great if fly screens could possibly be installed in both bathrooms. Then you could open the windows to ventilate worry-free, especially after showering. Otherwise, we are very satisfied, like every year. Unfortunately, a regular guest is constantly annoying us because they always book 2 years in advance, so we have no chance of being able to stay in the house at our preferred travel times. Sorry, but booking a house 2 years in advance is just outrageous to us. We are looking forward to next year, it will be 10 years then, and hope that we may be able to book our favorite house the way we would like.

Otherwise, we are very satisfied, as we are every year. Unfortunately, a regular guest is always annoying us, because he always books 2 years in advance, so that we have no chance to be in the house at the time we want. Sorry, but booking a house 2 years in advance is just disgusting for us.
We are already looking forward to next year, when it will be 10 years and hope that we will be able to book our favourite house again as we would like to.
