The well-maintained cottage, new roof November 2012, (60 sqm, suitable for up to 6 people) has a cozy living room with sitting areas (solid wooden floor), LED TV, SAT TV, dining table, kitchen and shower and toilet. In the living room there is an optional sleeping place (sofa bed). The bedrooms are located in the attic. New flooring in 2016.Carpeting was removed in 2016.
New windows were installed in 2016.From the living room you come through a door to the
spacious sheltered terrace with small garden. A large play area with playground is close to the house. The park offers table tennis hall and tennis court. In front of the complex is a leisure pool with indoor and outdoor pools. The spacious green areas between the houses provide the ideal setting for child-friendly vacations. Garden furniture and 2 bicycles are available and can be used at your own risk. Car parking space in front of the house. In an idyllic and spacious park with old trees, 183 detached vacation homes are located in close proximity to the old harbor of Stellendam, the indoor and outdoor swimming pool of the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee, the nature reserves and dunes of the "Kwade Hoek", the "Slikken van Flakkee" and the beach of Stellendam. The North Sea, the Grevelingen Sea and the Haringvliet enclose the largely natural island of Goeree-Overflakkee.
Recreation, peace and fun for the whole family is guaranteed. The North Sea resort of Ouddorp with its excellent wide sandy beaches is only a few minutes away from Stellendam.

Different than expected
We were able to spend a lovely week at the Keppel house.
The communication beforehand was very good.
The house is equipped with everything one needs. Everything was clean, including beds, blankets...
We felt comfortable.
As a small suggestion from us, we would add one or two windows with insect screens downstairs.
Oh yes, the park is also very well maintained and child-friendly.

Aged but functional
We wanted to spontaneously travel for a week during the summer holidays and simply couldn't say "no" to this price.
Upon arriving at our temporary home, the old and musty "smell" halted our initial euphoria. Unfortunately, even daily vigorous airing did not help.
If you follow the reviews, it was indeed very clean, thanks to our predecessors. We also missed the freezer mentioned in the description. The house description also mentions a satellite TV. It is present, but all channels are blocked because the necessary CI module is missing. Since the couch, which looks quite worn, is not sufficient for 2 adults and 2 children anyway, this did not weigh heavily.
Upon arriving at the bedrooms via the really steep space-saving stairs, which are not separated by a door or similar, the yellowed and outdated mattresses immediately catch the eye. The stairs are unfortunately not secured with a stair gate. Up here, we would have appreciated curtains, as the children were quite disturbed by the light from the streetlamp outside the window.
The terrace is indeed completely overgrown with "companion greenery" and does not invite much to linger. The front yard also appears quite unkempt compared to the other houses.
The park itself is very clean, lovingly maintained, and very child-friendly. The location provides a good starting point for any excursions. We would book a house in this park again, but not this one based on its current condition.

Die meisten Punkte habe ich vorherigen Kommentar beschrieben. SAT-TV ist vorhanden und funktioniert über das Internet. Hier muss ein Vormieter etwas verstellt haben. Das Gefrierfach habe ich aus der Beschreibung herausgenommen.

Neglected and not clean
Upon arrival, we were greeted by an entrance area overgrown with weeds, and the terrace was also full of weeds, so there was no place to linger. The kitchen was quite dirty, and in the kitchen drawers, we found long dark hairs (we are blonde and have short hair), dirt, and stained cutlery. The dishes and cabinets didn't look much better. The wooden cutting boards were full of mold. Unfortunately, the indicated freezer compartment was also not present. Actually, there were dead insects all over the house. After a longer vacancy, this might be unavoidable, but it should be checked before renting it out again.

The pillows were filled with down (which are difficult to clean anyway, and certainly haven't been cleaned recently...). The mattresses were stained, and the protectors over them as well! We didn't even use the comforters... After about 2.5 hours of cleaning and a purchase of new pillows and additional fitted sheets, which we then put double over the mattresses, it was somewhat acceptable. After a phone call. After conversation and several emails with the landlord, we did receive the amount for the final cleaning, but that does not negate the whole situation. I could write quite a bit more, but it would take too long for me.
We don't need luxury, but cleanliness is something one should expect. We also hesitated to leave such a review, but it was just too much for us.

Wir haben nach jeder Vermietung einen Reinigungsdienst. Für die Schubladen und Schränke sind die Mieter zuständig. Hier haben sich wohl die Vormieter nicht an die Spielregeln gehalten. Ich haben den Reinigungsdienst gebeten, darauf zu achten. Die Grünarbeiten werden in der Regel von der Parkverwaltung übernommen. Hier ist wohl einiges schief gelaufen. Bisher hatten wir solche Probleme nicht. Leider können wir nicht ständig vor Ort sein und nach dem Haus schauen. Wir nehmen die Anregungen aber gerne auf und werden uns darum kümmern.
