Description
In the large, bright, south-facing living-dining area with kitchenette, you can feel comfortable, even if it should not be beach weather. Plenty of dishes and plenty of pots and cutlery, plus a small library, TV and radio are of course. 6 people can go on holiday - in 3 bedrooms with 2 beds (bring your own bed linen). A large terrace with awning, garden furniture and chairs, in front of a lawn. In the shed you will also find 3 bicycles and barbecue. The bungalow park is family friendly. Cars park at the entrance of the park. The bungalow is barrier-free.

Location and surroundings of object
The nearest towns are Petten (3 km), Callantsoog (5 km), Schagen (11 km) and Alkmaar (22 km). In addition, there are many nice little places in the area as destinations.
Amsterdam about 1 hour's drive
Our cottage is located in a smaller, car-free, family-friendly, well-kept bungalow park, separated only by a road from the wide dune belt; the sea is reached in a few minutes by bike or in about 10 minutes on foot through the dunes.
Supermarket, fast food "De Goudvis", pizzeria, a few shops and a small amusement park for children are within walking distance. Mondays is "Kofferbakmarket", the Dutch flea market.

Relaxation made easy...
We (2 people) enjoyed the welcoming and easy-to-reach holiday home (northwest of Alkmaar) once again, combined with tours mostly by bike from there and one day by car and P+R to Amsterdam (information in the house was very helpful). We particularly fell in love with the small artist town of Bergen with the Museum Kranenburgh, and also the dune nature reserves on the way to Bergen and further to Castricum - partly with freely roaming horses inside! The set up in the renovated holiday home is very cozy and practical - the newly constructed kitchenette with its pull-out shelves definitely deserves a "star of the week"! It is also easy to heat up even in cold outdoor temperatures. We can only recommend the holiday home and its surroundings!

Vacation by the sea
