Description
The holiday home is situated in a holiday park which is largely car-free (barrier, access only with key) and is ideal for families with children. There is a playground and table tennis.
The garden is surrounded by thick hedges, which do not allow a view in the summer half of the year and therefore offer an ideal privacy.
Kitchen living:
comfortable sitting area with W-LAN (free of charge), TV with digital reception with German channels, CD and DVD player, in the dining area a table with 6 chairs and view of the garden in southern exposure (2 awnings).
Dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, oven, toaster, gas stove, pots, pan, casserole, coffee machine and kettle. Basic spice equipment is available.
There are 3 bedrooms, two with double beds and one with bunk beds.
1.) Double bed 2* 2m * 90cm. We have hung up two wall cupboards here, but have not photographed them yet.
2.) Double bed 1,40*2m with optional child fall protection, wardrobe, night chest
3.) Bunk bed 2* 0,90 * 2m, wardrobe, night chest
Bathroom with shower and WC as well as a child stool to climb on and a child toilet seat
In the shed next to the terrace there is a high chair for children, a charcoal grill, a clotheshorse and a freezer, a lantern and a children's surfboard. The recently purchased washing machine unfortunately cannot be put into operation - we are looking for a timely solution.
Under the canopy at the shed there are three approx. 2,3m. long clotheslines.
The secluded garden faces south; two awnings, parasol and garden furniture are available as well as a small sandbox (folding shell).

The dune landscape is in the immediate vicinity. The way to the beach can be reached either by a tarred path or by footpaths through the dunes (handcart is available).

additional information about rental price:
| The deposit will be refunded immediately if the holiday home is returned without damage. Please let us know if anything is broken. Smaller accidents/damage will be covered by us, in case of larger accidents your liability insurance will usually cover, so that you usually do not have to pay any costs yourself. The above mentioned additional costs of 1,30 per person and night are the tourist tax, which we pay to the municipality of Schagen. |
Cancellation terms:
We will of course try to find a replacement tenant in the event of cancellations. If we succeed, the cancellation is free of charge, or in cases of discounts, you might only need to pay the difference. Otherwise, the following flat-rate cancellation fees apply: 30% of the total price if cancellation occurs up to the 42nd day before the start of the rental period. 60% of the total price if cancellation occurs from the 41st day up to the 28th day before the start of the rental period. 90% of the total price if cancellation occurs from the 27th day before the start of the rental period.

Very satisfied!!
We had the pleasure of spending our vacation in this beautiful holiday home and can only highly recommend it. From the first booking to departure, everything went smoothly.
The house matches the description of the provider. It is equipped with everything one needs. Everything is in good condition, and we felt very comfortable in the house. It was clean and tidy. We were also able to make good use of the terrace. The garden is equipped with a lockable gate, so that small children can play safely there; there is also a covered sandbox with plenty of toys.
Parking space No. 5 is very close to the house. It is very convenient to bring luggage and groceries into the house through the garden entrance.
There is also a two-wheeled cart in the shelter for transporting items and groceries.
The furnishings of the living area are very cozy. The lighting can be well regulated by two dimmers, one for the couch area and another for the dining area. We really liked that there is a power strip attached to the dining table. This way, you can connect laptops or other devices there.
To get to the beach, a road must be crossed, and then you are on the paved path to the beach without cars. The path takes about 15 minutes on foot. But there are also two bicycles available, with which one can reach the beautiful expansive beach in a short time.
There are shopping options at the small supermarket on the campsite nearby; larger purchases can be made very well in Callantsoog.

Highly recommended for a short trip! Great landlord and highly recommended!!!
Situation:
Looking for a very spontaneous weekend with my girlfriend to visit my parents, who lived one town over.
The plan was to visit my parents, who had spent their vacation one town over until Saturday, and spend Saturday and Sunday with us in a small vacation apartment to escape everyday life. The only criterion was to accommodate my aging dog near the beach.
Communication with Mr. Schemmann was more than easy and really relaxed. Despite the notice that pets were not allowed, an exception was quickly agreed upon, thank you very much again for this!
Accommodation:
Access to the vacation apartment was possible via an external keypad, so that occupancy of the property was possible without much coordination. The code was transmitted immediately after payment was received. As already mentioned, very relaxed and without complications, Mr. Schemmann was really accommodating and a pleasant landlord! Small bonus: Since we were already in the area quite early to have breakfast with my parents, I asked for feedback on whether an early occupancy of the vacation apartment (to be occupied after 3:00 PM according to the notice) was possible. Just after 11 AM, I received a message that the apartment was already free and had already been cleaned. This should of course not be the norm, but the efforts should be mentioned because something like this is not self-evident.
The accommodation is quite small, but this creates an atmosphere of coziness. Since I myself learned the craft of electrical work, I was pleased that the lighting was well thought out to illuminate individual areas well when needed and to create a cozy atmosphere.
As mentioned before, the accommodation is quite cozy, so that should be taken into consideration.

Because of the enthusiasm about the very child-friendly Boerenslag Park, our dream of having our own holiday home there was born. This is all the more true now that we have noticed that many holiday homes seem a little neglected. We would like to do this better, so that our tenants feel comfortable.
