excellent--everything was perfect--as described--I know Cuxhaven Sahlenburg because of my vacation in 2019--I think it's great--beautiful large beach--not as crowded as Duhnen--but everything you need is available--really nice beachfront restaurants--since 2019 some great additions have been made--watching the sunset over the sea from several restaurants--there's always a place to eat. Otherwise, endless bike rides along the coast. On foot, walking along the beach to Duhnen--a lovely walk--or further to Döse or Cuxhaven--you could take a day with a leisurely walk after breakfast. In Duhnen, the Ahoi Bad--I only used the sauna facility--I wasn't in the mood for noisy kids in the leisure pool. The sauna facility is simply beautiful. On TOP a great terrace with a view of the North Sea to relax after sweating--great infusions--beautiful park-garden area for peace and quiet. With a guest bonus, the day pass for about 17 euros is a great price. A bus tour on a double-decker bus--Cuxhaven and the surrounding area--everything worth seeing--you can get off in between and get back on later--a ride with lots of information--totally worth it. Or a carriage ride through the mudflats to the small island--also great. Those who enjoy horseback riding can also enjoy the full program. The holiday apartment was top-notch--everything as described on the internet.

Very friendly staff. Flat clean and tidy. Beautifully and functionally furnished. The kitchen is well equipped, iron, clothes horse etc. available. The floor creaks a bit, but that is not a problem. The two balconies are nice, one with a view of the lake and one with a view of the forest. Shopping is possible in a few minutes by car in Aldi etc.. The beach is a few minutes away, also the dog beach. Baker in the building ;) We will definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Sunset with a view of the sea in several restaurants--you can always find a place to eat. Otherwise, cycling without end along the coast. On foot--to Dunen along the beach--a beautiful walk--or on to Döse--or Cuxhaven--you could take time for a day of walking after breakfast.
In Dunen, the Ahoy baths--I only used the sauna facilities--I didn't fancy children running around in the leisure pool. The sauna facilities are simply beautiful. On top of that, a great terrace with a view of the North Sea to relax on after sweating--great drinks--beautiful park and garden area to enjoy the peace and quiet. With a guest bonus, the day ticket for approx. 17 euros is a great price. A round trip by bus--in a double-decker--to Cuxhaven and the surrounding area--everything worth seeing--you can get off now and then and get back on again a round later--a trip with lots of information--was totally worth it. Or the horse-drawn carriage ride through the mud flats to the little island--also great. Those who enjoy horse riding can also enjoy the full programme. The holiday flat was top--everything was as described on the internet.
