Description
An exceptional vacation at Lake Constance includes a vacation accommodation in which one feels exceptionally comfortable. Here you would prefer to move in permanently, as some guests have already noted.
The höriHaus 1804 is located in the core of the lower village of Moos, directly on the village square and only 100 meters from the harbor and lake. It is one of only a few houses left from the early 19th century, which nevertheless characterize the village center. Until 2021, the house, built in 1804, was lovingly restored from the ground up by selected craftsmen from Moos and the immediate surroundings and brought up to the latest technical standards. The attached barn, which was used for decades as a boatyard for the typical Lake Constance fishing boats, could only be demolished and was replaced by an extension of similar cubature with a large roof terrace. This makes it possible to offer three very different vacation accommodations, one of which will certainly meet your particular wishes for a carefree vacation. All vacation accommodations have separate outside entrances, very high quality kitchens with induction stove and dishwasher, WLAN, satellite TV, modern bathrooms with rain shower, child-safe sockets, outside seating and covered bicycle parking.
The apartment Seeblick is located in the DG of the new building with a wonderful view over the old village gardens to the Schienerberg and the harbor. It offers generous space for 2 people on 45m². The sleeping area with a double bed (160x200cm) is somewhat separated in this beautiful and very bright one-room apartment. A modern bathroom with a window towards the sunrise lets you start the vacation day in a good mood. Directly behind the small kitchen-living room is the access to the roof terrace, where it can sit well in summer due to the awnings.
If necessary, the Höriblick apartment can be connected to the Seeblick apartment via an interior staircase. This creates a very comfortable apartment for up to six people.

Location and surroundings of object
Moos is located at the north-western part of Lake Constance, directly at the Untersee and only 4km away from Radolfzell. With Constance and Stein am Rhein (CH) two almost completely preserved medieval cities are within easy reach. The island of Reichenau (world cultural heritage of Unesco) can be reached directly from Moos-Iznang by scheduled boat in summer. With the Schiener Berg behind you, an extensive hiking area opens up, which also has some mountain bike trails to offer. Moos lies on the Lake Constance circular hiking trail and also offers countless opportunities for cycling tours.

Welcome to Moos! We have been living in Moos for more than 20 years and love this most idyllic area on Lake Constance. But also here time does not stand still and so we had to experience how many of the lovely old fishermen's houses were torn down because of dilapidation or too low ceiling height. When the opportunity arose to take over one of the last old half-timbered houses in the village, we decided to renovate it to create something special. Now this house is available as a special vacation apartment for you as our guests.
