HöriHaus 1804 is located in the heart of the lower village of Moos, directly on the village square and only 100 metres from the harbour and lake. It is one of only a few houses left from the early 19th century, which nevertheless characterise the village centre. Until 2021, the house, built in 1804, was lovingly restored from top to bottom by selected craftsmen from Moos and the immediate vicinity and brought up to the latest technical standards. The adjoining barn, which was used for decades as a boatyard for the fishing boats typical of Lake Constance, could only be demolished and was replaced by an extension of similar cubature with a large roof terrace. This makes it possible to offer three very different holiday apartments, one of which will certainly meet your special wishes for a carefree holiday. All apartments have separate outside entrances, very high quality kitchens with induction stove and dishwasher, WLan, satellite TV, modern bathrooms with rain shower, child-safe sockets, outdoor seating and covered bicycle parking.
The separate old residential house with its 95m² holiday apartment "Altes Fischerhaus" today offers generous space for 4 guests. It combines the pleasant cosiness of bygone days with the most modern equipment and thus enables a special holiday for connoisseurs.

Location and surroundings of object
Moos is located on the north-western shore of Lake Constance, directly on the Untersee and only 4km from Radolfzell. With Constance and Stein am Rhein (CH) two almost completely preserved medieval towns are within easy reach. The island of Reichenau (Unesco World Heritage Site) can be reached directly from Moos-Iznang in summer by scheduled boat. With the Schiener Berg mountain behind you, an extensive hiking area opens up, which also has some mountain bike trails to offer. Moos lies on the Bodensee circular hiking trail and also offers countless opportunities for cycling tours.

fantastically renovated old house
In this 200-year-old fisherman's house, renovated with great attention to detail, we wanted for nothing for a week
With all its state-of-the-art amenities, it was our retreat in the beautiful Lake Constance region

Welcome to Moos! Since more than 20 years we live in Moos and love this most idyllic area at Lake Constance. But also here time does not stand still and so we had to experience how many of the lovely old fishermen's houses were torn down because of dilapidation or too low ceiling height. When the opportunity arose to take over one of the last old half-timbered houses in the village, we decided to renovate it to create something special. Now this house is available as a special holiday apartment for you as our guests.
