| Note spa tax fee From 01.01.2021, a spa tax will be required for the municipality of Wustrow, in which the village of Canow is also located, according to the statutes. According to the municipality, there will also be benefits in this respect. The statutes as well as information on the benefits are available at A daily fee of €1.20 is charged per person over 18 years of age. Reductions for severely disabled persons, pupils etc. can be found in the statutes. For example, for a rental week (shortest rental period in Haus Steffi), this results in a fee of € 7.20 for 1 person (arrival and departure=1 day). The fee is to be transferred to the landlord with the rental contract and will then be paid to the municipality by the landlord. You will receive the exact procedure when concluding a rental request and it is easy to handle. |
Cancellation terms:
42-30 days before travel: 30% of the travel price, 29-22 days before travel: 50% of the travel price, 21-10 days before travel: 70% of the travel price, 9-0 days before travel: 90% of the travel price.

Thank you for a great vacation!
We were with our grandchildren, two big boys, for a week at House Steffi and found everything in top condition. Instead of the 3 bikes provided, there were 4.... Thank you! We didn't use the 2-person boat, but rented a 4-person paddle boat from the rental shop. A toaster would be great... and there are no double beds but 4 single ones. It's completely fine, but we brought the wrong bed sheets because of that;-) Thank you, we'd gladly return! Nice neighbors...;-)) are also there!!!

Super relaxing vacation
A big thank you to the landlord Mr. Kalmbach!
...we had a great and relaxing time in this great holiday home, great weather and were able to enjoy the peace and quiet. Thanks to the bicycles, we were able to explore the forest a lot (although there were no mushrooms, we went swimming in Trünnensee, in the middle of the forest)!
We felt very comfortable during the 14 days and would love to come back next year.

Beautiful little house in a magnificent location
The cozy holiday house is pretty and well equipped, perfectly and quietly located.
During the day, we explored the surroundings by paddle, enjoying the best weather (a top-notch boat rental is nearby, in case you need multiple boats), and in the evenings, we enjoyed the various seating areas in and around the house. Canow also offers guest houses, a small shop to stock up on everything, a nice kiosk by the lake, and endless nature. We felt completely comfortable. It's not easy without a car, but possible.
The communication with the nice landlord was extremely uncomplicated. We would come back anytime... Thank you very much to the Kalmbach family.

Perfect vacation in nature!
First of all, many thanks for the many information and the all-round support from Mr. Kalmbach! We've never had such a nice, very helpful, communicative landlord before! The cottage is really spotlessly clean, very comfortably furnished and nothing is really missing! 2-person kayak, bicycles, 2 sauna loungers with thick pads, 4 terrace chairs, a furnished conservatory (with table & cushions), mosquito window screens on many windows in the house, barbecue, washing machine, large clothesline in the garden, iron, hairdryer, cleaning supplies, kitchen appliances and small items from the wine opener to sharp knives, scissors, clips, etc. The rhododendron was in bloom in the garden when we arrived; the tall hedges protect against prying eyes, bushes and lawn were very well maintained. All-day bird chirping, very nice neighbors, short distances to eat (traditional German cuisine and fish restaurant right by the water), small kiosk, a marina with relaxing chairs in Canow complete the consistently positive impression. Canow is centrally located for kayaking and cycling trips. The provided kayak has the advantage that it can be used at any time, and you are not bound by return times as with a rental. This gives you the absolute freedom to choose your routes if you don't know how long you will need. If you want to relax, this is the place to be! For self-catering, shopping is done in Rheinsberg. In any case, we felt very comfortable here and would love to stay in touch! Many thanks and keep up the good work!

clean and well maintained cottage in a quiet location
The cottage is clean and well maintained (even under the beds). It is very well equipped with daily necessities, e.g. scotch tape, hot water bottle, badminton racket with ball,...) The cottage stays cool on hot days thanks to insulation, but can also be quickly warmed up on cool mornings with the wood stove. The steep space-saving stairs take a little getting used to. You can secure it at the top with a flap. The garden is wonderful for the children to play in. The conservatory is mosquito-free and a great place to sit and relax. The landlord answers questions quickly and friendly by phone or Whatsapp.
