A great retreat! The location by the Markermeer is beautiful, and we enjoyed the ecological features of the lodge. The open kitchen had everything we needed, and the living room was comfortable for family gatherings.

We had a great time here! The lodge was clean and spacious, it felt like home. I really appreciated the solar panels, I felt good being environmentally friendly while enjoying a beautiful view of the Markermeer. The beds were also comfortable, although they were single beds, which meant we could arrange them as we wanted.

Perfect place for a family vacation, The lodge was spacious and had everything we needed, The location is good for visiting Hoorn, which is just a short drive away, Would definitely come back!

The accommodation itself is good and sufficiently large for 2 people. Unfortunately, it was poorly cleaned upon our arrival: among other things, spider webs, dead insects behind the curtains and the sliding door, and the dining table was not wiped down. It was very frustrating that the accommodation is advertised with sun loungers (even in the app on the photos "My Accommodation"), but no sun loungers were present. An inquiry at the reception was denied because "there are simply no loungers at this house" and loungers from another, empty house cannot be moved. We were really looking forward to enjoying the day a bit in the sun.

Beautiful place for a relaxing short vacation! The outdoor terrace was perfect for morning coffee. The WiFi was strong enough for streaming in the evening, which was a plus. The location was relaxing, not too far from Hoorn, so we could also explore a bit.
