Another beautiful vacation

We were once again delighted with the lovely accommodation. The extension of the kitchen is really well done, and the new couch is very cozy for resting after walks on the beach or in the dunes. We also liked the new seating area in the front yard very much, which invites you to linger in the morning. The second bedroom has turned out very nicely. We will be back soon.

Simply great

We were at this beautiful vacation home with our two dogs last week... As with previous times, there was nothing lacking... We felt completely comfortable, the fenced garden is optimal for the dogs. Successful time out

We (2 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs) had a wonderful time in this lovingly decorated holiday home in Sint Maartenszee/Sint Maartensvlotbrug. The house truly lacks nothing – it has everything one needs for a relaxing vacation. We would especially like to highlight the fully fenced garden, where we could relax and which was perfect for our dogs.

Our absolute favorite spot was the cozy conservatory. There we ate, drank coffee, played games, and relaxed – a wonderful place to spend time together, no matter the weather. The equipment with a washing machine and dryer was especially practical, especially with children and dogs. The location of the house is a dream: Just a few minutes' walk to the long, fine sandy beach, through beautiful dune landscapes, or in the other direction past the fragrant, colorful flower fields and into the Wildrijk forest – perfect for long walks with the dogs.

We would especially like to thank the wonderful hosts Ramona and Stephan. The contact with Ramona was uncomplicated, warm, and very reliable – you can tell that the well-being of their guests really matters to both of them.

A perfectly successful getaway. We can warmly recommend the house and the location – we will definitely come back!

We will come back.

In our week, there were still 5 stars for the weather. We were there for the second time and it has improved again in terms of space (kitchen expanded, great large sofa...). The location is in the holiday park, but it's okay since the garden is dense and privacy-protecting, so it doesn't matter much at the end of the access path. The only disturbance I find is the streetlamp that is on at night (but there are shutters). Everything was clean and tidy, and there was a small welcome gift for us and our dogs. Everything worked perfectly, and any questions were answered promptly by the landlords.
We are very satisfied and had a really good rest.

Mega lovingly furnished house in a very quiet location.

I spent a few wonderful days at House Lexi with my RR female dog, Erna. Everything was so lovingly and tastefully furnished. Nothing was missing! Ramona, the landlady, is very, very nice and makes sure that the stay is pleasant. The garden is fantastic, well-protected by a hedge and equipped with a high fence, so a large dog can run around there without worry. Erna was very happy when she entered this great house. We give a full score and we are happy to come back!

Idyllic break

We found a very nice, cozy, and perfectly equipped holiday home and felt comfortable right away. A nice greeting for the guest and dog welcomed us as soon as we entered the living area. The house is very attractively laid out, and breakfast and dinner in the conservatory were extended. It is very pleasant to sit there. The garden is protected by a very high hedge. It was also a wonderful time for the dogs. The property is well-maintained and spacious, the beach not far away. We discovered a remarkably delicious baker/confectioner within walking distance with fine pastries. The contact with the landlord was very friendly and uncomplicated. We could have stayed forever. It was simply lovely.

Pure relaxation :-)

Dear Forsbach family,

thank you for the time in your holiday home - we two-legged and our furry noses have recovered well and were able to relaxingly dive back into everyday life after the holiday week. The beaches are really great there, especially the one in Petten, which we liked a lot. Shopping is possible nearby, and the holiday home has everything we needed for a good vacation. The large dining area in the sunny conservatory is particularly nice. If we may, we will definitely come back soon—maybe in spring, when it’s not so stormy.

We have just driven home.

The little house is brimming with good energy :) a very pretty, very pleasant stone cottage is located in a quiet park. You can hear doves and birds, and sometimes see rabbits. The arrival is well prepared, two, no, three gifts are ready to welcome the guests :), the little garden gate is so charming, the sight is cozy. The hallway smells wonderful. We were so eager and were not disappointed... the kitchen is sparkling clean, all rooms are well laid out. It was funny for me, the door to the bedroom x2. But the new guests can find that out for themselves. Dogs are welcome, bowls are provided, and there is also a soft big bed. For us, this stay with the Forsbach family was restful; we grilled a lot and explored the surroundings. For us, it was Groote Keeten with the fine sand and the spray, Schagen and Den Helder, Julianadorp with the shops (especially the cheese shop opposite Lidl), Alkmaar and its lovely alleys. The evening rounds in the park with our dogs offered many lovely views of very well-maintained little houses. We, my husband and I, can wholeheartedly recommend the charming cottage of the Forsbach family and wish the new guests just as restful and peaceful a vacation as we experienced. We were able to spend our vacation in a very lovingly furnished holiday house, where everything we needed was available. A fully fenced garden with a terrace also provided our four-legged friend with a carefree, relaxing vacation. The beach is only one kilometer away, and the path leads through the beautiful dune landscape.
We would love to come back and are grateful for the wonderful time.

Very nice, well-located holiday home. A very friendly, hospitable landlady. Everything was taken care of. We really enjoyed our week, including our two dogs. Our dogs were very welcome. The beach and dunes are simply beautiful. We didn't miss anything and we would love to come back.

Pure relaxation!

The beautiful holiday home is spacious, equipped with everything you need, and wonderfully close to the beach. Two terraces in front and behind the house invite you to sunbathe, with the rear terrace in the garden shielded from prying eyes by the high Thuja hedge. On cooler days, the well-functioning heating system helps. The amenities are great: good mattresses ensure restful sleep. And the peace, of course. The kitchen has all the desirable utensils, and if you want to eat out, Goudvis is not far away with a very delicious cuisine. What we also appreciate are the 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and one with just a washbasin and toilet.

A relaxing week in Sint Maartenszee

Dear Ramona, dear Stephan,
our vacation week at the end of May was very relaxing! We felt very comfortable in your "Vakantiehuis Lexi," and the secluded garden was perfect for our dog Margo! The many tips at the beginning of the vacation helped us quickly get acclimated. The location of the bungalow in the charming bungalow park is quiet, and the walk to the dunes and the beach, right from there, is easily doable. We also found the supermarket within walking distance very convenient. The house has everything you need and is beautifully decorated. The great winter garden invites you to have a cozy breakfast, and the covered terrace is wonderful in summer temperatures.... We would love to come back!!!

Arrive and immediately feel comfortable

We have arrived and found a spotlessly clean, cozy holiday home. First, I would like to mention the very nice contact with the landlord before the trip. We received all the necessary information in advance. We also stayed in contact with the landlords during our stay, and they made sure that we felt comfortable.
The holiday home is very spacious and tastefully furnished, the kitchen equipment is more than sufficient, and there is even an oven (which we haven't had in Holland before). The information folder in the house is great - so no questions arise.
The house is very well located in the park - right by the parking lot and yet very quiet. The garden is truly private and equipped with everything you could need.
The path to the beach through the dunes is wonderful. The beach was never crowded during our time there, and in the early hours, we were often alone with our dog.
In short: a peaceful oasis to feel comfortable with very nice landlords. We would love to come back and also recommend the cottage to our circle of friends.

Pure relaxation

After booking the holiday home at fairly short notice, we received the travel documents with all the necessary information very promptly. The information about the house and the surroundings is so comprehensive that there were no major questions. Upon arrival at the house, we immediately felt comfortable. We found everything as described. Nothing was missing. The house is a oasis of well-being and invites you to relax. It has a great location, you are quickly at the beach, can quickly reach Texel, but also the other cities/places like Amsterdam, Alkmar, Den Helder, Bergen, Schoorl... Our two dogs also felt comfortable right away. The four of us say thank you for the lovely time, for the treats, and we will definitely come back. Dream holiday on the Dutch North Sea!

We had an absolutely wonderful week here! The holiday home is equipped with everything you need and lovingly decorated. The beds were a dream, we slept wonderfully. The back garden is securely fenced in and even opaque, the dogs were happy there. The holiday park is really quiet, at least in early March. The landscape here is magnificent, with miles of sandy beaches, great forests, and dunes. The ferry to Texel is practically at the doorstep! Dogs are allowed almost everywhere, just check beforehand at nature reserves and zoos. Contact with the landlady was always great and super nice!

Absolutely recommended, we will come back! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Holiday in Holland with dog

Very spacious, well-equipped and well-maintained holiday home. It was nice for us dog owners and dogs that the garden was fenced. It was only a few minutes to the dunes. Then from there about 15 minutes to the sea. We were able to hike by the sea to Petten on foot (nice little village with shopping possibilities) and back through the dunes. Nice circular route of about 9 km. But there are also buses for the return journey. We were unfortunately not allowed to visit a nearby nature reserve (Zwanenwater) with our dog :-( But there is something similar in Egmond aan Zee, where dogs are allowed on a leash. We had wonderful, relaxed holiday days in the house and can highly recommend it!!!!

Great holiday house

A great house, very lovingly furnished. Everything available in sufficient quantities. Perfect for our dogs because of the fenced property. The location is perfect for excursions. The beach and the sea are not far away. Ramona and Stephan are two great and lovable hosts. I was warmly welcomed alone with three dogs. The organization was very good. The information in advance left no questions unanswered. The house is very nice and very well equipped. The location is great. I would love to spend more vacations with you. Supermarket and restaurants in the vicinity. The path to the beach or through the dunes invites you to take a nice walk.

Dream vacation

We had a wonderful holiday for 2 weeks, despite the fluctuating weather, in Sint Maartenszee with our 2 children and dog.
We noticed a small issue upon our arrival, but Frau Forsbach was immediately available and took care of it as quickly as possible. A really very nice contact, great!
The bungalow is well equipped, has everything you need for a holiday, and has sufficient space.
It's very quiet and the garden is well fenced, so our dog had fun as well.
As soon as we go to Holland again, this is our number 1 address.

The house is very cozy and super clean. It is ideally quiet. You can relax, just as you wish on vacation.

The location is great, we didn't really need a car on site. You can walk and bike everywhere. The walk to the beach and the beach itself, it couldn't be more beautiful. Restaurants are also nearby. What more could you want. We will definitely come back.

Why go far away when the good is so close

The vacation home exceeded our expectations and was simply great. It was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortably furnished. We immediately felt at home.

The location of the vacation home was ideal. It was situated in a quiet bungalow park, yet within a few minutes' walk, about 25 with a dog, you could reach the sea. The path led through a beautiful dune landscape. The beach was fantastic and we enjoyed walks and, if the weather allowed, a swim in the sea.
Furthermore, the surrounding area invited exploration.

The equipment of the vacation home left nothing to be desired. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary utensils to prepare meals during our stay. There was also a cozy living area with comfortable sofas. The bedrooms were functional and I slept well.

I would like to highlight the hospitality of the landlords. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. They gave us valuable tips for activities in the area and were available for questions at any time.

All in all, we had a wonderful stay in Holland. I can highly recommend it and would come back immediately (if it weren't booked so often).

Restful vacation.

Finally, a house where cutlery and dishes are not counted.

Not only a dream for dogs :-) As a dog owner, it doesn't matter if you open the front door or the terrace door, the four-legged friends cannot escape.

Also, you cannot see into the back garden, which we thought was great.

Washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher were all there, which was very important for us.

It's a leisurely 20-minute walk to the beach, always beautiful through the dunes!

The contact with the landlady, via email, phone, and then WhatsApp, was great.

Thanks to the certainty that you can immediately consult if there is a problem, is worth a lot!

There are enough chairs and cushions for the garden, and the conservatory has a great large table with comfortable chairs and so on.

Simply beautiful, that's why we have already booked for "2024" :-) Yeah

Great relaxing holiday !!!

The holiday home is situated in a quiet and convenient location.

You can reach the beach after a short walk through the nature reserve (very idyllic). The beach is wide and clean, partly with sections where you can let the dog run without a leash.

The house is very well equipped, clean and very cosy! We didn't want for anything!
Both the front garden and the garden are completely fenced. You can let the children and the dogs play there without worrying.

The contact with the landlords was very friendly from the beginning. Even after our first night we were asked if everything was to our satisfaction. There is a very detailed information folder in the house, which leaves no questions unanswered.

The deposit was paid back very quickly.

The house is definitely to be recommended!!!

All-round care package

We enjoyed our short holiday in the cottage very much. It is very well equipped even with an oven.
Thanks to the landlords, the start was very pleasant (directions, dog beaches and other important places were sent by email). Even a short email enquiry as to whether the start of the holiday had gone well was very obliging.
The small welcome surprise made the dogs and us happy.

Simply beautiful!

Dear Forsbachs, congratulations on your beautiful, very lovingly furnished holiday cottage! We and our dogs felt really comfortable from the very beginning 🙂 A bottle of champagne was on the table as a welcome, along with treats for the dogs 🙂 Everything you need for a relaxing stay is available in the inventory. A nice layout of the rooms – there’s even a winter garden 🙂 The dogs could also be safely let into the garden. Even our tiny 1 kg dog cannot run away; everything is fenced off, even the smallest corner. Contacting and booking personally went super fast and very warmly. Simply recommendable. We will definitely come back!

Anytime again

In a typical Dutch holiday home park, we were very satisfied with our house. It was cosy and sufficiently equipped. There is even an oven! Everything worked perfectly. A question we had on site was answered promptly and was helpful. The house was quiet, although it was on the corner. As the garden is very well enclosed and tight, you are completely on your own
The price-performance ratio was right.
If something was missing, it was only a dirt trap mat in the entrance area ?

Pure relaxation

Even before the hosts listed this holiday home on this website, we had already spent several vacations there. Each time we were positively surprised by how this house keeps changing. The garden has been redesigned, renovations have been made, and the furnishings (furniture/SAT system) are all new. The new covered terrace is also really great. Now you can sit outside even when it rains. Super! There is also plenty of space in the house and in the garden. We highly recommend this accommodation and will be a guest in this house again in August.

Warm-hearted, friendly, loving, a beautiful place to stay with or without a dog.

Ah, that was so nice:
Easy access, sufficient parking spaces right at the door, and then this cozy bungalow in the greenery, equipped with all the comforts the heart desires = arriving and immediately switching into vacation mode.
Very inviting and stylishly furnished, we felt at home right away; the fairly large outdoor area is even shielded from view. Ideal for both active people with or without a dog as well as for loungers. A huge expansive dog beach is accessible via a beautiful path. Excellent area for road cyclists and bike riders, bike rentals (even with dog trailers) are nearby. A good starting point for activities. We cooked for ourselves, but there are also options to go out nearby. The exceedingly nice and always cheerful hostess (always reachable) thought of everything, everything around is perfect. I could stay there forever?

Cozy vacation home with a great garden - perfect for a holiday with a dog +++

A beautiful bungalow (barrier-free), located in a quiet green holiday park, very cozy, modern, and personally furnished, so that one quickly feels at home. Everything is available that one could wish for (even washing machine and dryer, large TV with Blu-ray player, etc.), a spacious living area. Particularly pleasant is the high-fenced and secluded garden with a covered terrace, wonderful for relaxing. Especially with a dog, it is the perfect accommodation, and very nice landlords who have renovated the house multiple times and especially created a wonderful garden.
The spacious, clean, and not overcrowded sandy beach is quickly reached on foot, and there are several shopping options nearby.
Conclusion: it couldn't be better - we will come back!!!
