This holiday village composed of 50 chalets is surrounded by trees and situated in a charming park with a games area, small zoo, and a communal chalet with table tennis and laundry facilities (washing machine and drier). Ideal for nature lovers and experienced walkers, the place exudes an atmosphere of peace and space. Not far from Couvin (in the Dinant region).
Activities in the surrounding area: Kayaking on the Eau Noire or the Viroin, marked walks, mountain bike riding, horse riding, carting in Mariembourg, open-air swimming pool in Nismes. In winter, cross country ski runs.
Places of interest: Eco-museum and Treignes steam train, Eau dHeure lake (35 km) with the opportunity for water sports, Chimay and its abbey (trappist beer and cheese), Rocroy, a town dating back to the Middle Ages situated right on the French border.

Top chalet in a top location. Chalet is equipped with everything. 1 downside the bed is a back breaker.

Very good holiday had with some friends. Little to criticize in the cottage outside the sink smecht went through and that the bank beyond what might be bijgeschroefd. For the rest, top!

We made beautiful walks, one from Oignies and 6 from Nismes. The village of Oignies is nice, quiet and rural. The shopkeepers are very friendly. Restaurant Chez Caro is recommended.

Magnificent chalet for 7 persons approx. We were there only 2 people, so all goede.Dit chalet is the only chalet in the park in the sun. So "evening at the picnic table in the sun. The other guests were jealous. If the path crosses you right in the nature reserve, a large forest. Great Supermarché in Couvin to find, but directly in Ognies you can come to" Chez Jeanine "make all necessary halen.De lady at the reception speaks perfect Dutch, so for those who master the French language well, this is pretty meegenomen.In the chalet is an information book with extensive information, which you easily is.Als nature, then this is cordially to bevelen.Keuken chalet is equipped with all comforts, rest is fine and you can ontvangen.De Netherlands 1 on TV environment is beautiful and you're only 7 miles from the French border verwijderd.De cities along the Meuse (Maas) are fun to visit, especially in the French part.

People behind the reception not friendly. On arrival there was no toilet paper in the cottage but no hand dishcloth. When linen which you paid extra is not a duvet. Next was the cabin top, nice and quiet and sunny.

We had a relatively new chalet (No. 53). Clean and spacious for 7 people. The cottage was in the middle of the forest. Recommendation for nature lovers and peace seekers. Janmmer that this chalet is not adapted for a disabled person (eg a ramp for a scooter and a larger bathroom).

We have really come to rest, cottage nestled in the woods in a quiet area, there are wonderful horse riding in the forest near the equestrian center in oignies and lovely walks. Children were sorry and embarrassed that there was no wifi, (except for the reception).
