This holiday village composed of 50 chalets is surrounded by trees and situated in a charming park with a games area, small zoo, and a communal chalet with table tennis and laundry facilities (washing machine and drier). Ideal for nature lovers and experienced walkers, the place exudes an atmosphere of peace and space. Not far from Couvin (in the Dinant region).
Activities in the surrounding area: Kayaking on the Eau Noire or the Viroin, marked walks, mountain bike riding, horse riding, carting in Mariembourg, open-air swimming pool in Nismes. In winter, cross country ski runs.

Disappointing that we really had no privacy as we sat outside. Anything but child friendly in the vicinity of the chalet (rusted nails and broken glass, etc. .. in pebbles) the terrace was not defined yet had a height of + / - 80cm which is dangerous for children! The chalet itself was nice but cramped for 2 adults and 3 children (including little room for cot) and lay on top of very dirty inside (eg in the kitchen was still a lot of coffee grounds and Chocotoff on the ground, everywhere you under and in addition could look there were tow fabric. shame as you walk through the park and you see there are new chalets that are vacant where the terrace is well defined AND with just a lawn theconservation!

This is really a nice place to relax and to enjoy nature or the wooded area. It also serves as a great base for various sites (caves of Han, the largest castle in Europe in Sedan, Hitler 's bunker, etc. etc.) In the village itself there is nothing, so you have to rely on the car. We had a very nice weekend with very clean this weather! Everything was super good with out the interior of this house, which was damp! All sheets and clothes smelled like we were at home. The mattresses were damp which was unpleasant to sleep. What was also nice is that there were no night shops nearby, "Sunday is all increased after 12 h.

We at Village de Vacances Oignies a wonderful holiday week polite. A nice house, nice and cool in the trees, in a quiet, natural surroundings. Ideal for those seeking tranquility for their entertainment is not dependent on others. In the area and surrounding villages is nevertheless plenty to do. Couvin is a nice village, the river that meanders through the region has beautiful places and Virelle is an attractive nature (Aquascope). A must for young and old. Groceries? VESCHRIKKELIJK. Never go to this location. The cottage was downright nasty. The house is crawling with critters where you (would you be able to sleep properly) are only doing two hours to remove it. You're in the middle of the woods, so you can expect bugs but this was really very dramatic. When we arrived all the windows were open to each other. Now we know why ... MOISTURE. Everything smells of. The furnishings were old, worn and downright dirty To say nothing about. Blankets I was glad we had taken. Our own bedding also a serious tip, take particular note slippers because the floor is so dirty that you really need this advice: DO NOT BOOK!

In the "Office du Tourisme" in Givet we were surprisingly spoken in Dutch. The lady behind the counter is originally Dutch. The trip to Viroinval would take the route according to 3 ½ hours. We have run over as many as seven hours. How did that happen? The cottages are absolutely not suitable in winter. We have been the last weekend of the year. The house was cold, damp, it smelled like cat's piss and in the evening there was a puddle of water on the floor because of the condensation! The chalets were nice and quiet location, surrounded by forests and with adequate spacing, so privacy is guaranteed. Do not expect luxury (the sofa was not too good and the bed quite hard), but on the other hand were well equipped with all the necessary stuff and we could well continue with what we had. Chalet itself was pretty okay, the rooms are smaller than they appear in photographs. It was fairly clean, but the bathroom was the wood of the window to rot and mold, the shower was not suitable for screening because all the water was on the floor. Everything was closed in the area of u200bu200boperations, was only 130km away, much too far. Not well stated that all costs of electricity water etc etc are charged separately. The house stands in the middle of the forest. We had a house where virtually no sun rose. This makes the cottage was very damp and cold. The bed and our clothes were very damp. Furthermore, it is a very nice house. In our sleep up to four people. In the immediate area is relatively low. However, you can look great hiking. The routes are well marked and super sometimes you can walk for hours and no one encounter. To visit places you have to always drive away. In that respect there is very little in the immediate omgeving.Wij went for walks and rest. That is (despite the rain) managed fine. I would not be so quick to it again, as we all do in the area have seen. Next time another Belvilla in a different environment.

This cottage rented for a week. Please note there are houses that are older than the picture. We had an older house, fine, nothing wrong with that. All present but do not expect luxury. Well check the inventory! What minor defects as dangling bathroom lamp to releasing kitchen cabinet door handles. House used as a base for day trips. Very noisy if you have a two barber. Do see a deer crossing.

Lovely relaxed weekend had in this park. It is a small park with detached cottages in the forest. So you're surrounded by nature and within driving distance are many lovely towns and villages. We recommend a visit to Charleville in northern France. Nismes is also a very nice place. The cottage itself is basic, but fine for the price. Plus was the barbecue at the cottage.

Three families in three houses that are close together on request. Perfect solution. The houses are for 6 people, but may have to have two on the sofa bed in the living room / kitchen. Serves 4 cottages are ideal. Beautiful wooded area, very quiet area. When you come nobody really walks against.

It was a beautiful, peaceful location in abundance in nature. The chalets are well spread over the domain. Everything is there and it's neat. Definitely recommended for families with children!

We have just returned from our vacation. a nice clean cottage, the park was super nice in the forest, also in the area many beautiful things to see and visit. take into account that at Christmas many attractions are closed. not far from the park, a ski slope and large shopping you drive fast to Fumay France 7km there is a large Carrefour store.

Excellent men's hut for a week short weg.Lijkt me colder less suitable for gezinnetjes and then the electricity rekeningook will build up nicely, something to be reckoned with houden.Voor the rest spacious park and from the park so to walk in the forest with see within an hour much fauna.Veel car.

We needed a few days away from the city and we got it. Nested within the forest on top of a hill was our little brown chalet. We enjoyed the peace, however would have liked a bit of view from the chalet. Our view was our drive way, with a table and then about 15 meters further another chalet, when I was hoping to be nested in the forest, but have a bit of a view over the hills, or something other than another chalet. Other than that we enjoyed the service, the play area for the children and the walk into the quaint little village and the different trekking routes in the area. Just what we needed.

The house is old/dated, smells very musty and it is damp inside. The beds and chairs are uncomfortable. It may also be cleaned thoroughly to remove cobwebs and damp spots. The surrounding area is very beautiful, you can walk in all directions. Out of season there is little to do in terms of terraces/restaurants.

Too bad the house is a bit "worn out". Not everything was equally clean and the kitchen cupboards almost fell apart. Bad beds and a lot in and around the house was damaged. And this was very unfortunate, especially because the park, the location, environment, etc. was certainly very good. The weather has helped with that. Belvilla would do well to have several houses refurbished and left clean. If this is in order, the holiday can be enjoyed more.

Honestly those houses looked so cool but ... I don't recommend No. 24 to anyone. Was really old-fashioned microwave inside was loose, fridge door hangs so don't close completely everything freezes and runs all the time (electricity 😒) for the price I was really disappointed this time. Maybe we should have had a different house...

Chalet 17 is in urgent need of sprucing up. The bathroom (toilet seat is loose, shower hose is leaking), cooking pot with dents so that it is difficult to use on an electric fire, electricity gave a short circuit / power failure (was quickly resolved). Interior is tired, there are corners / edges / paint missing, which gives the whole an outdated and unkempt impression. It was also not really cleaned properly. The surroundings and the holiday village itself are highly recommended. Friendly welcome, nice playground for the kids and plenty of privacy.

There is not enough transportation to the park because it is very annoying. The employees were not really friendly and sometimes really rude! The area was beautiful. The chalet itself was a bit small but in order and cozy.

Certainly not as nice a chalet as on the advertisement but a small musty dark chalet with a tired kitchen really outrageous. Exactly a tired (student) room. Hair and clothing still smell stale after washing several times. 30 degrees.And the icing on the cake is a mega-mobile generator continuously running there all week on 20m v chalet & near the 7 other chalets in front of the park; really annoying; I didn't hear any birds there. you didn't have to be outside for peace and nature and inside it was always dark & musty 👎👎👎

Good reception. Wanted to let me pay the final cleaning while this was free. After having printed the site, this was immediately corrected. Great. Accommodation was somewhat dated but did fine. Was also neat and tidy (don't understand the negative reviews about this). Too bad that the linked residence had no separation with the neighbors at the expense of privacy. Beautiful environment. Meeting with wild boar half a meter away was wonderful. Encountered that again in the evening because it is an open park. Quiet too. Despite the weather was disappointing.

The reception was very neat and simple. The recentionist spoke Dutch what a nice welcome. However arrived in the cottage, this cottage was just dirty. We first cleaned everything for an hour, which brought a lot of frustration. The bathroom had mold spots, which also smelled when you took a hot shower.

On the way we were called by the owner and gave us the code for retrieving the keys. Accommodation was above expectations. The environment is beautiful. You do need a car. Many activities in the area.

Our impression of the park was that it is very small and there is little to do. The environment is great hills and forests. Rules of the park are fooled by everyone, but what noise does some rent this for a weekend and go until the late hours by loud shouting and yelling in the forest and even if one exhausts the dog, the droppings are simply not cleaned up.

The arrival is very friendly and with lots of information the accommodation was well clean but badly cleaned, lots of dust and cobwebs, kitchen was not clean stuck on all sides many stains on the walls floors and the doors .servies was also not clean. And the paths were not accessible to people who are badly injured. BAD ROADS IN THE PARK AREA ARE BEAUTIFUL but you are far from far away.

- Owner came during our stay looking in through the windows as we waren.- get away Calculations 50 euros to clean the house while possible 50 euros can cost by the size of the cottage. And we ourselves cleaned so the 50 euro should not be deducted from the waarborg.- 40 days of departure still my 200 euro deposit was not returned had- seat as two bed reckoned with, not very pleasant as a weekend couples is.

Basic but well-kept. Beautiful surroundings. Playground is in good condition, fairly recently with a swing, trampoline and slide. Pets are limited to what goats and donkeys. Cottages are ideal for summer and spring when the temperature is higher. Can imagine that it is not warm enough in the winter inside, the door is also directly into the living room so it cools huge rap off when you open the door. Also take account of high electricity bill. For us 20 euros in the Easter holidays for 3 days, 6 hours or so per day just to heat the living room.

The bed was broken in the first house. They got us so another home gegeven.in the second house was freezing when we arrived and the roof leaked when it rained. The water of the pool was dirty (orange with bits of earth) so we could not give a bath to our babywe have passed a complaint to the reception but they do not get help. We are finally one day earlier vertrokkenwe asked for a fee when we left but the lady told the front desk that they (did not help) about not entitled had.we were really disappointed of the house and especially the reception.
